I normally go to the NC/Tenn mountains but last April my sister invited us to Corolla. I fell in love with it. In fact, so much, we are going back June 4th. It is laid back, quiet, not crowded except Nags head/Kittly Hawk area. I would recommend it to anyone who just wants to relax and doesn't feel like they have to be doing something constantly.
