Don’t you think $6.95 is a lot for a vegetarian Indian lunch special? On the East Coast, paying that much means all-you-can eat buffet. In SF, it’s "special" to get a few scoops of smooshy vegetables with your standard bread, salad, etc. The food is decent at Maharaja and yeah, it'll mostly fill you up. I guess that's why the place stays in business. Not sure if I’ll ever go back. I’d eat at Pakwan right around the corner any day over this.
