Every time I am in downtown shopping or hanging out, and I see the Cable Car turnaround, I know I have to get to Blondies for a slice. Proba...

Blondies Pizza 10/23/2006

Blondies Pizza is a great place for a cheap meal in Union Square (which is tough to find!). People usually get take-out by the slice, but they also sell whole pizzas and have tables downstairs where you can sit and eat. I've also noticed that they now sell fried chicken! Interesting. My favorite is still their vegetarian pizza, very generous slices of green peppers mushrooms, etc, at only about $2.25. Sure, not exactly on par with Pizzeria Delfina or A16, but I can't complain for that price. more

Yummy! 6/10/2006

I love Blondie's pizza! Picture a large slice with thick crust and garlic brushed on it, then cheese and toppings. So good! They have some great deals too (but charge you 25 cents for a box). The seating is okay, better than it used to be but you have to go for their amazing pizza! more

VERY GOOD PIZZA!! 12/29/2005

I love the pizza here. Its at a reasonable place and and it has one of those old-fashion feel to the place. With a few dollars you could get a huge slice of pizza and a drink. Althought its kinda oily, but what pizza is not oily?! Its definitely a great place to stop by while shopping downtown. Also since most food in downtown are quite expensive, blondie's is a great place to go to and hang out with friends more

Decent pizza 11/17/2005

This is an old standby favorite; if you like pizza this is a great place. For a quick budget meal, it's really a great slice. I recommend going with the old traditional pepperoni and mushroom but the pineapple is also really great. This place is not too crowed which is also a plus and makes a nice place for catching up with friends. more

great pizza 9/4/2005

Blondies pizza is the best, they have daily specials that are always tasty, even if they aren't combinations you would usually think to put together. They have great prices, especially for being centrally located in union square. The pizza is always my first choice, although lately I have been coupling their veggie deluxe salad with miso dressing along with a piece of pizza, and it is delicious. The dressing is homemade and wonderful, they provide a wide variety of veggies in the salad (not just your lettuce and tomato salad) and a thick slice of honey wheat bread to go along with it. It would be a great meal on its own, and the medium (they only had med and large) is big enough for a meal. more

Yum! 8/16/2005

I love Blondie's Pizza! They serve huge slices and are pretty cheap too. It's great if you want a quick meal or bite to eat. The pizza actually tastes really good and the cheese consistency is just right. Their garlic fries are really good too! The service is fast and I definitely recommend it. more

blondies 8/11/2005

blondies pizza is a great quick place to get a great peice of pizza. they always have pizza warm and ready to eat. their peices are huge and their prices are very inexpensive and that makes it a great place to stop and get a quick bite to eat. they also do full pies for pretty cheap as well. there is no sitting here, just standing room only, so get a piece of pizza and take a walk around downtown. more

Great pizza place 8/5/2005

This place is a great place to eat real pizza. Not those other chain store pizza's. THe pizza here is like homemade, with a home feel to it. The design and place is very crowded at the upstairs, but once you reach downstairs it is nice and comfortable. The prices of this pizza is nice is cheap. There are different varieties of pizza's available. Most thin crust. THey also have watermelon slices. more

YUMMY! 8/5/2005

Blondie's Pizza is the best. You can never go wrong here. A large slice of pizza is about three dollars. You can buy it with a drink. They also sell garlic fries. The restaurant is two stories. The first floor is where you order pizza. The basement floor is where the customers sit and eat. You order fries on the basement floor. It is relatively clean. Sometimes it is hard to find a seat to sit. You do not have to wait long for your food. more
