Patricia Galamba is the finest doctor I've ever had, which explains why I now choose to drive to San Francisco rather than lose her sincerely caring attitude and remarkable diagnostic skills.
Patricia Galamba has been my physician for over 15 years. When I moved away from the Bay Area and became very ill, I saw several other doctors who did not correctly diagnose my illness as serious. My husband insisted that we return to Dr. Galamba. She saw me immediately, diagnosed me correctly, and admitted me to the intensive care unit of St Francis Hospital (just across the street) in less than an hour. There I spent several days in intensive care and many months in recovery. I know this doctor to be very professional, thorough, caring and compassionate. I know this doctor saved my life.
I have referred many clients to her, all of whom love her and drive into the City to see her.

After the unexpected loss of my 16.5 week pregnancy Dr. Kahn and her staff were there to comfort, guide and medically assist my recovery. I would recommend her to anyone. She understands the gamut of patients, the reasons why they come to her, doesn't pass judgment, provides compassion, education and gentle service. I am so thankful for her, and her incredible staff.

I am now 23, with bright white straight teeth that do not come from brand new veneers or teeth bleaching (only used otc bleaching once about 2 years ago, and never did any dental office bleaching). Had her since I could remember. Highly recommend!

I really like this place. It is in a great location. The store is design nicely, with glasses lining around all the walls and a center desk for people to choose and try stuff on. The Doctor is actually in the back and you have to go back to a small room to actually get your eye exam. The Doctor was really nice. She was very sweet and straight forward, and after your exam, you can just buy the glasses right outside. There was a lot of variety but they all were pretty expansive (even with insurance) you still have to pay 100 or two. But I like the place overall and would come here again.

All the great things I have to say about Dr. Main (and his staff, for that matter) simply cannot be captured in 500 characters. He reminds me of what I assume old family docs we re like - warm, caring, incredibly intelligent, deeply committed to his patients (mom, baby and family) and healthcare overall. He is not an alarmist, is positive and yet realistic at the same time. The city of San Francisco is lucky to have the likes of Dr. Main in its midst. I give him my highest recommendation.
