I have gone to this brother team for over 8 years. I have never had a problem with them. Several years back, my car was stolen and being parted out. It was recovered and I did some of the repairs myself and then took it to them for an inspection. I also asked them if they would replace a few things on it. They told me it was not necessary to spend the $$ on those repairs. In fact, they steered me away from another repair that a shop in the East Bay said I needed (I moved out to the Pinole area) and saved me yet another $500. I now drive across the bay to get the honest reliable work of these really nice, community oriented San Franciscan brothers.
Pros: honest, won't do work that isn't necessary
Cons: the waiting room wasn't much the last time I was there, but I didn't hang there

We've taken a few cars there (our two current ones, plus an older car) and they are great. Attentive, reasonably priced and HONEST.
When I went to sell my Ford Minivan, there was some sort of a leak and a prospective buyer took it to a AAA recommended place who looked at it and told the buyer that the engine block was leaking and it would cost at least $800 to fix. Needless to say, they didn't buy the car. So, based on a craigslist recommendation, I took it to Don's to get it fixed (and to get a second opinion).
I was pretty happy when they called back to say that it was a hose leaking, and the total cost to fix it would be $40. The van ran great after that and I sold it shortly thereafter.
Since then we've taken cars in for brake jobs and a couple other minor repairs and they've done a great job. I highly recommend them.

I've taken all my cars there for years, and they have always been honest and timely. They are always accommodating to my schedule and they do great work....since I live in Noe Valley its great to have them here. They have never misquoted me...if there is a change in the estimate they always call and explain.

Just bought my 2009 Prius and couldn't be happier. Dealt with Cory ,the internet manager, who was very helpful with all my questions and little picky details. In the end all we had to do was go in and pick up the car. No hours of haggling and no last minute changes in the "fees." And they gave us the best price out of the 11 dealerships we checked. Great customer service !

I own a 95 saab 900 SE and i can honestly say that planet saab is easily the most professional repair shop i have ever dealt with. The guys their are great and they always make you feel confident about your vehicle. They come through with everything they promise and on time as well! When I leave my vehicle there for service or for repairs I am always very confident that they will do a great job . Ill never go anywhere else for repairs where i can get the most friendliest, honest, customer service as i do at planet saab. Thanks Guys!

When I used to drive Honda, I always used Honda Auto Repair for its auto repairs. I thought they were really reliable but did have really steep high prices on repairs - usually about 10% more then at local mom and pop shops. But whenever I had to fix my car, I knew that the fix is going to garantee to work and work fine! I never had any problems with Honda Auto Repair.

I needed my car towed and I heard that all auto dismantlers would give me cash and tow my car for free. My old honda had a blown engine and I called All Auto Dismantlers and they sent out a tow truck for free to come and look at my car and they gave me cash on the spot for my old honda. I also foudn out the have new and used parts and I was able to fix my girlfriends car for super cheap. I called down there and they had the part in the yard and there yard mechanic pulled the part off while i waited. All auto is awesome and they helped me save some serious $$
Pros: Cheap new and used auto parts. Free towing for junk cars
Cons: none.
