the taste here is special. Crazy place, almost serve yourself. But it is good food here!

Worst

Some ppl say that their chicken was really good, but I'd say that the chicken tastes very cheap. The price is very resonable, but I didn't like their lousy service. Pros: PRICE

Who knew that rotisserie chicken could rise to such heights? Zankou maintains a scrupulously clean, cafeteria-type premises. Daily, hundreds, maybe thousands of chickens rotate to perfection on a wall of rotisseries. Add some lightly pickled vegetables, fresh pitas and their wonderful, garlic-y "secret sauce" and you'll have the best budget meal in town. Eat in or take out, this is THE best kept secret in town. Pros: value for money, very clean, fast service Cons: limited locations, street parking more

I have not had the chicken here, but the falafel is really not that good. I tried it a couple of times to give it a fair shot, but in the end it is just strait up fast food type stuff. I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for this type of cuisine. Pros: price, fast, colored benches Cons: falafel, hummus, pita more

Been to the one in the Valley twice. Always a waiting line -- and it's worth the wait. Very casual atmosphere. Now I have a reason to try the one on Sunset. Pros: Taste is superb, Skin crisp, Moderate cost Cons: Virtually no ambience more

I resisted for many years, but now I really am hooked. The chicken schwarma sandwiches are unbelievably good. For $3.99, it's a very cheap meal. It's not much on atmosphere, but what fast food place is? The only real downside is the parking. It gets very chaotic and the sidestreets don't offer much refuge. But it is soooo worth it. Pros: garlic sauce, yummy chicken, very inexpensive Cons: parking difficult, lack of atmosphere, too bright inside more
