This museum is GREAT! It is free admission, and everyone there is exquisite. This museum really defines what you should find at a museum, with a wide range of internationally renowed art. The view from the top balconies provide an overlook of los angeles that is truly amazing. I recommend this museum to anyone who is looking for a good time, or an art enthusiast.

I recently won the Regional Science Fair competition, and the State competition was held here, at the science center. Basically, during the times when we were not interviewed, we were allowed to stroll through the rose gardens and through the science museum. I have been here a number of times, including when they held the Body Worlds exhibit with my biology class. They never fail to capture my interest and I always leave thinking about the next time I come here. I would definitely recommend this place, especially when they have special exhibits on display for a limited time.

If you haven't been to the Los Angeles Zoo, definitely go because you will have a good time watching the animals, watching the people, and get a work out! It is quite large and very family-friendly, and what many people don't know is that it's also a good place to take a date. I enjoyed the snake exhibit and the gorillas quiet a bit, and you will also find your own favorites as well!

I love this museum because it's like walking back in time and is not like most other museums. The museum is relatively small but its exhibits are very impressive (and contain really random, but cool, stuff). There is complimentary tea upstairs. The museum is usually not very crowded. The museum is only open on afternoons and evenings on weekdays.

Going here was an incredible experience. Although I was hungry for most of it, I enjoyed the special buddhist exhibit they had up when I was there. Admission was free for students and so is membership. You can come here to study exquisite art, or just to wander around and wonder in amazement. I have been here only once, I certainly look forward to the next time that I go to LACMA.

I am suprised to see some of the reviews here. So I will make a point to write something nice. People can be sooo negative and just plain mean. I for one love this place. I have had a great time everytime my family and I go. Service and food is always great. They do tend to get busy though. I have learned that a reservation helps. Try their foi gras fantastic! Beautiful view too.
I suggest to anyone that if you are that dissapointed in food and service you should let a manager know while you are there. Anyone who dines pretty much knows that. Why wait and write a nasty review, shameful if you ask me. I see people complain all the time about things that can be easily solved.
Remember it's just food and drinks; dining with friends is supposed to be fun
I love this place and look forward in returning
Pros: view, food, service
Cons: gets very busy at times

I think the La Brea Tar Pits have been in business for years, as I used to visit there as a kid. They have a historic location where tar pits once inhabited this area of Los Angeles. Kids will love the museum with all of the interactive exhibits. Parents will love it for the history and in-depth information. Parking is a little difficult, however.

I began my Shooting hobby in the UK in 1979,My first pistol was a 22lr Walther GSP target pistol, I quickly gained an interest in competitive shooting and became a member of a team shooting in postal competiions.
We shot against other Clubs including Police force teams which we regularly beat? we had one high ranking shooter who was picked for the England Olympic team a lifetime achievement only to be scuppered by the olympic ban due to Russia Invading afghanistan?
I owned and shot many pistols and revolvers during my Shooting years. but due to my Government banning weapons in 1987 ( semi automatic rifles) and 1997( all Pistol and revolvers) my Sport was cut short. I went to the Gun Club twice a week every week, and shot centre fire revolver and Pistol and carbine pistol calibre rifles at our outdoor range. and Centre fire Rifles at approved military ranges
Back to the present day or 16 days ago? my visit to this gun club in LA bought so many memories back it was like being transported back in time as though nothing had happened, this may sound stupid but it did for me?
I only wish I had shot more, hopefully I will visit your fine country again, and do more shooting
The Staff were great and made you feel at home and very welcome, very knowledgeable regarding the weapons and above all the safety aspects.
My last words are to thank you all for my visit and giving me the opportunity what my Government took away from me through no fault of my own? and participated in the Sport of Shooting.
A big Thank you from Mick.
Pros: 5 star for people and venue.
Cons: The only big con is I live in the UK?
