the taste here is special. Crazy place, almost serve yourself. But it is good food here!

Worst

Some ppl say that their chicken was really good, but I'd say that the chicken tastes very cheap. The price is very resonable, but I didn't like their lousy service. Pros: PRICE

I enjoyed the food at this establishment very much. It is a very realxing environment. I also liked the variety of the menu and the different options i had. I liked the quality of the food very much and the price is also very reasonable for the amount of food that you are receiving. The one thing that i liked the most is their garlic sauce that they have. It is a very unique flavor and very tasty. Pros: Tasty food Cons: Parking more

good chicken. good wraps 11/2/2006

i've been eating zankou since i was younger. the food's good here and it's cheap. i like the wraps and the chicken meals. they're famous for ther yummy garlic sauce. i highly recommend this place :) Pros: good, cheap food. Cons: nothing more

Garlic Butter Love 10/10/2006

It's all about the chiken and garlic butter! those suculent pieces of roasted heaven mixed with that oh so creamy garlic butter on a piece of pita. Oh man! I think I just had a food gasm! The service and food is always great. Oh and those yellow t-shirts are so awesome that I had to get one of my own. more

What an amazing little place. Famous for spit roasted chicken, the meat is unusually juicy, tasty and delicious. Add the garlic sauce and you become forever hooked. And don't forget to get the complimentary pickles and peppers. And the food comes quick and at super cheap prices. You can get a whole bird for about $8.50. OMG like whoa! 12/6/2005

I hate chicken. I think it's really gross and I never eat it. Still, I crave Zankou chicken and eat there bimonthly because their chicken/garlic sauce/pita/hummus is out of the world! The first time I came here, I ordered Falaffel instead of chicken because I'm not a chicken fan at all. The fallaffel was forgetable, but I tried my boyfriend's chicken and made him take me back a week later to get some of that heavenly garlicy goodness. Beck even gave a shout out to Zankou Chicken in one of his songs, so you know it's good! Pros: awesome food, funny armenians, yummy! Cons: staff is kinda mean, but who cares?, i don't. more

Really cheap, really good. For the budget-minded go with a friend and split the whole chicken meal. For less than $9 you both will leav full and content. Make sure to pack some mints for the post-garlic breath! Pros: Cheap, Garlic, Good more
