For some excitement and scenery, take a jet boat excursion from the dock outside of the Oregon Museum of Science and Technology. A jet boat is an open boat driven from the back that holds about 50 passengers. The longer ride covers over 30 miles and lasts for two hours. You can expect to get wet especially from the mist of Willamette Falls. more

Willamette Jetboat Excursions 8/20/2005

If you want to see Portland’s waterfront and skyline and enjoy speeding on the water, then the small, fun Willamette Jetboats are for you. You might see a passing ship, will see bridges, riverfront homes, Oregon City and Willamette Falls. Excursions are two hours in length and start at $29 for adults; $19 for the one hour bridge tour. Children are $10 and $5 off, respectively. more
