Worst

I haven't had my hair done there,but I got some waxing done, and it was NOT a good job....they missed a bunch of hairs and pulled some of my skin off...SO, maybe hair, waxing....t...

It's not the cool, hip atmosphere or the complimentary wine (although welcomed!) that keeps me returning to Tres Jolie Salon. It's simply the warm smile of Cheli, my Stylist. I have trusted Cheli with my complicated cuts for over 10 years and have been very, very happy with her service, friendship and expertise. She truly understands what her clients desire with their looks, and takes a consulting approach to her work. Without question, Tres Jolie is a great spot to unwind while leaving your style worries in Cheli's hands. more

I love Tres Jolie, not just because they treat you like royalty, not just because of all the laughter and great positive energy in the salon...because the have the BEST STYLIST EVER - JAMES WATERHOUSE!!!! I love James. he always welcomes me with open arms and a big smile, even though my hair is a pain in the a$$ to cut. He has been cutting my hair for six years now and I wouldn't ever consider letting anyone else touch it!! Go to Tres Jolie - ask for James - prepare to be amazed.... Pros: JAMES WATERHOUSE!!! Warm atmosphere. Great stylists. Easy location. Free wine! 4/12/2007

Tres Jolie is terrific. Everybody there is so welcoming and nice. Cheli does a great job with my hair and she's a great person. Very fun. I'd recommend her to anybody. The prices are very reasonable. Right in the heart of uptown, it's easy to pop in - but make an appontment just in case. You'll leave there looking better than when you walked in. And feeling better since they offer a complementary glass of wine. Pros: Ambience. Service. Cons: None. more

Awesome Service and Creative Stylists 4/12/2007

This salon has character! It is warm and inviting and the staff exceeds expectations every time I visit. I walked in and have been seeing Cheli now for the past few months. She is great; listens to my concerns and makes suggestions that always end up with me leaving satisfied and feeling good. All the stylists are creative, helpful and really know the beauty business. It is accessible and parking is available. I tell everyone I know and have had a couple friends go for cuts and color who have been extremely satisfied as well. Of all the different salons I have frequented in the past few years, I must say that Tres Jolie is the absolute best! The people are extremely friendly and VERY courteous. From the moment I walk in the door to the time I leave, I feel very welcome and the center of attention...no matter how many clients are present. My stylist, Cheli, is very personable and a maestro with her shears, clippers or whatever instrument she is using at the time. I highly recommend this salon and Cheli to everyone!!! more

Bryce Jermain has been in charge of my hair for over ten years. With all the things I have to worry about in life, I can relax and let go of worrying about my hair, knowing that Bryce will take care of it. As one of the owners of Tres Jolie, he has extensive knowledge and expertise which translates into a seamless experience for his clients. I get compliments on my hair all the time and I have referred many friends to Bryce. He is very intuitive and I believe he could style my hair with his eyes closed. I have been a client of Cheli's for over 10 years now and all I can say is what a wonderful stylist she is and a true great friend!! I have never had a bad experience with her and of the few places she has relocated to in the past, Tres Jolie is truly blessed to have her on their team. I appreciate being able to have a glass of wine after work while Cheli gives me a haircut. I have not been able to experience this kind of pampering in any other salon along with all the friendly faces and the warm atmosphere. Keep up the great work!!!! I CAME ARCOSS TRES JOLIE FROM CITY SEARCH AND IT WAS THE BEST THING EVER! I USED TO HAVE THE FUSION HAIR EXTENSIONS- BUT THEY RUINED MY HAIR. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN LOOKING FOR A DIFFERENT WAY, THAN I FOUND MELISSA. SHE DOES THE BEST THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN. PLUS NO ONE CAN TELL I HAVE THEM. I ALSO SAW SPENSER FOR MY COLOR AND HE DID AN AMASING JOB MATCHING THE COLOR TO THE EXTENSION HAIR. THEY BOTH WORK WELL AS A TEAM. AND EVERYONE ELSE AT THE SALON WAS VERY FRIENDLY, ANOTHER BONUS. more

Cheli is the best 3/18/2007

Ok, I came to the salon because my stylist moved there... and she is a find and a half if you're looking for someone new! Cheli was recommended to me by a coworker and he said, she is the girl to go see if you're a gay boy looking for someone who does great hair and know's how to take care of her guys. No lie there! She's my ace when it comes to getting a good haircut, style tips, and amazingly... some social interaction in our local gay community. Pros: They offer you a beverage, and treat you like royalty Cons: parking can be tight but come on it's uptown. Get off your a$$ and go be seen. more

As any brunette knows going blonde can be a disaster, but not if your stylist is Joe! The color is beautiful, young and stylish. Just what I wanted. He really knows what he's doing Pros: Great atmosphere, the stylists are talented,friendly and welcoming Cons: can be expensive, and sometimes hard to book both a colorist and stylist on the same day. more

Cheli is the best!! I have followed her for over 9 years and not just for the great cuts. She has a great personality and an incredible sense of humor. Ask for Cheli!! Tres Jolie is very relaxing and the color scheme is perfect. The staff is very welcoming the minute you walk in the door. Dana and Marly are the best!! The layout is too commercial and chairs too close together, but the stylists that work there make it more than worth it. They all make you feel more like a friend than a client. Pros: Great staff, stylists and service Cons: Layout is too ""commercial"". Chairs too close together. more

I always walk away loving my hair and smiling about the time I spent in this salon. Everyone is over-the-top nice and helpful with any of your needs or wants. It is nice to see they are all having a good time. Benjamin has a true talent and puts a lot of thought and skill into every hair cut and color. Small town feel with big city talent! Comfortable atmosphere and fabulous attitude. 3/6/2007

My sessions at Tres Jolie have always been delightful and refreshing. You are always greeted with a smile and direct eye contact. It doesn't matter if you are coming in for a simple haircut or going way out, you are treated equally. Since I've been going to Cheli, she has always given me her full attention and listens to my wants/needs. Cheli knows that her job is to make sure you leave her chair looking hot! I would highly recommend Cheli and the Tres Jolie Salon! more

Best Hairsalon in the Twin Cities 3/5/2007

I have been to so many salons trying to find THE place for me and I have finally found it. I just love this place!! Everyone is soo friendly and attentive to your needs. They kept checking up on me and that made me feel so special. Also, they use good products (Kerastase and Bumble and Bumble).\r I highly recommend going to Joe for a color and Benjamin for a haircut. Joe gave me a great color that complimented my skin tone and made it look natural. I got a lot of compliments on it right after I stepped out of the salon.\r A big shout out to Benjamin for a fantastic haircut!!! This is the first time in my life that I could recreate the style that was done right after my cut!! Benjamin makes sure he gives you a cut that based on your face shape and texture of your hair and the best part is that he teaches you how to get that style the next day.\r Thanks guys! I will be back. more

I have had Cheli doing my styling for 10 years. I go to Cheli because she is personable and a fabulous stylist. I have followed her to many salons in that time. This salon is beautiful and friendly. Beautiful, Relaxing Salon 3/2/2007

I followed my hair stylist to Tres Jolie, and I couldn't be happier about the new digs. It is a relaxing atmosphere, a very professional and friendly staff, and I still get Cheli's great haircuts! I highly recommend trying out this salon. (And the hot tea is just lovely on a cold afternoon!) Pros: Relaxing Atmosphere, Friendly & Professional Staff, Great Service more
