Worst

I haven't had my hair done there,but I got some waxing done, and it was NOT a good job....they missed a bunch of hairs and pulled some of my skin off...SO, maybe hair, waxing....t...

A cut - and color - above any other hair salon!!!! 4/10/2008

I moved to the Twin Cities a few years ago and have been bouncing around from salon to salon never feeling totally happy with my experiences. I have long blonde hair and am very picky about my color and too often end up with a color that looks like a generic blonde. Well finally my search is over! Benjamin gave me beautiful multi-dimensional highlights and a beautiful trim. Instead of assuming he knew what look I wanted from the pictures I brought in (as so many hair stylists seem to do), he really took the time listen and to make sure we were on the same page! Plus he took care not to do anything that would damage my hair. Super friendly atmosphere, not pretentious, not rushed - and the wine is a great touch!! I won't be going anywhere else!! After all these years...Finally Happy 4/8/2008

Where to begin? I've lived in the TC for 7 years; my stylist retired 4+ years ago; been searching for ""the"" stylist ever since; went from one foo foo place to the other (i.e. all the ""top"" places); had yet another bad cut last week; then found Benjamin. Let me just say, I look wonderful! We clicked, love the atmosphere, everyone was NICE (really), Benjamin knows his stuff; he's an artist w/scissors! My hair - thick/wavy, short (Very), sassy, totally matches my spunky demeanor, plus Benjamin styled my hair and yes, for once I did not have to re-do it! I'm not going anywhere else... Love those extensions! 4/5/2008

Melissa is the best extension expert in the area! I am a low-maintenance, 'au natural' chic and just wanted my hair but longer and thicker. Melissa makes the extensions look so natural nobody ever knows I have them unless I tell them. And the extensions are so easy to care for! I can't imagine living without them now! Melissa is a sweetheart and the salon is very friendly and not snobbish in the least. Love it! Pros: Service, Ambience Cons: None! more

Great hair cut! I love it. Benjamin is fabulous. 3/25/2008

I had my hair cut by Benjamin at Tres Jolie. Benjamin took the time to talk with me and he really tried to understand my preferences. He told me upfront that if I did not love my cut then I should tell him directly and he will work with me to get the cut that I love. I appreciate that kind of honesty in a person and I could really see that he was working hard not only to do a great job with my hair but to also get me positively involved in the whole process. The final cut turned out to be superb. I absolutely love my new hair cut and I have received a lot of compliments for it. Easy, Friendly and Affordable 3/12/2008

I stopped into Tres Jolie Salon to see Benjamin after reading the great reviews on City Search. I called around 2pm and was able to stop in at 5:30! The staff was friendly, the shop was adorable and Benjamin was amazing! He quickly offered me wine and I felt right at home. He asked questions about my hair and I felt was really listening! He did a perfect job and I love my hair. Plus, it was only $45. I just moved from NY so I was shocked, but even in MPLS $45 for a great haircut is a deal! I will be back and I recommend everyone to try it out! The 5 star rating was right on for this place... Pros: friendly service, wine, great haircut and price Cons: none!! more

Mark is great! 2/27/2008

I was very nervous to color my hair since I have had horrible experiences in the past with stylists. Mark listened to everything I had to say and did exactly what I asked. I've never been so impressed by service at a salon and I know now that I can trust him to do anything with my hair. My hair looks great and I will definitely be back! :) more

I have naturally curly hair and very picky when it comes to choosing a salon and stylist. Ben was great! He listened to what I was looking for and did an extraordinary job handling my curly hair. I am very pleased. I will definitely go back. Pros: Everything was great! Cons: Nothing more

Best salon, owner/stylist, & staff anywhere! 2/20/2008

I can always depend on owner/stylist Jason Stiller to give me an easy to style, fashionable and trendy haircut. Growing out your hair can be very challenging if you don't consistently have a good cut. I used to be the type of person to bounce from one salon/stylist to another but since I found Jason and his staff, I won't go anywhere else! They always make me feel comfortable from the second I walk into the salon until the moment I leave. They are NEVER pushy when it comes to product sales but are very good at educating me and giving me my options. Pros: Top of the line products, highly trained staff, great location more

Benjamin is the best 2/16/2008

Benjamin recently cut and colored my hair and it is BY FAR the best haircut I have ever had. The cut looks perfect on me, he really customized my hair to fit my look and my personality. Benjamin is very talented and the whole experience was very enjoyable. Benjamin was able to see things I could not and work with me to create a style. Thank you TRES JOLIE! I found the colorist of my dreams :) Joe at Tres Jolie is a top notch colorist.The minute I walked into this salon I was extremely comfortable . I was greeted very nicely by everyone and they all had a great welcoming attitude.I am always nervous about my highlights because I have jet black hair and my hair ends up brassy and copperish when ever I go lighter but Joe knew exactly what he was doing and the blowout was the one of the best I've ever had.He is very knowledgeable and knew exactly what colors suit an olive skinned woman with dark hair.Highly recommed this place to everyone who want gorgeous hair.Warm and fabulous professionals with the finest attitude is Tres Jolie. I have received so many compliments on my hair, thanks to MELISSA. I have had other extensions before but nothing like this. Incredible service & Fantastic hair! 11/15/2007

I don't normally enjoy spending time in a salon chair (too many bad experiences to tell) but after my visit with Mark & Bryce at Tres Jolie - I've changed my mind forever! Mark truly did wonders with my color - It's been only 2 days and the compliments keep coming from friends, coworkers & family. Bryce is absolutely great with the way he listens and just puts you at ease. He really knows how to work with your hair. The staff was warm friendly and so very helpful. Amazing eye for color 10/25/2007

Benjamin has done my hair a couple of times now and I'm absolutely wowed each time. He has the most amazing eye for color and will be completely clear with you about why he's making the suggestion he's making. I've been red and/or bondish most of my life and been terrified of darker colors. Benjamin has now done my hair a wonderful dark color three times and, wow, it looks great. He even shifts your tone for the seasons! I'm also a curly girl and I don't think i've had a better hair cut. Beyond the great hair service, you get a cup of coffee, a great personality, really sincere staff and good products. \r \r I also had Specer do an eyebrow wax not long ago. I've got incredibly sensitive skin and waxing ususally leaves me brusied and swollen. Not so this time! And my brows looked great. I called the salon to say thanks I was so happy with him.\r \r Cost is comparable to higher end salons, but it's completely worth it. more

Great experience 10/19/2007

Benjamin recently styled my hair for my son's wedding and wowed me with his work! Can't wait to see pictures so I can enjoy it again! \r \r The glamorous style was a wonderful bonus, but it is Benjamin's cuts, color, and customer service that I value most. I don't like to style my hair, so a perfect cut and beautiful color are really important. Benjamin delivers both and with an attentive, friendly manner that let's me relax and trust in his skill. The other stylists there also seem attentive to their clients and do nice work. Tres Jolie is definitely a destination salon! more

Great Hair Cut! 10/15/2007

I finally found a place to get my hair cut!! After spending the last 2 years waiting until I flew back to Los Angeles to get my hair done, I decided it was time to find a place in the cities. So I did my citysearch research and decided to call and make an appt. with Benjamin. I was extremely pleased with the haircut that I received. He listened very well to what I wanted and also gave me suggestions on what would look great with my hair and face. One of my favorite things in a stylist!! He knows if what I want will look good on me or not! He spent alot of time with me and I enjoyed the atmosphere of the salon. Everything was wonderful and greatly appreciated!! more

I came upon Tres Jolie as a client of owner/stylist Jason Stiller. \r When a hairdresser sees a photo and understands that you like a style but your face shape or hair texture may differ from what you see, he explains the true possiblilities and LISTENS to what you desire and how it will function in your life. No cookie cutter styles here people. Truly customized styles for you. \r The staff is amazing! Dana, when you walk in, knows your name and is pleasant and welcoming. The decor is gorgeous. Product lines, my fave, Kerastase, is the best of the best. Even my almost 3 year old daughter knows the difference! \r I recommend the salon two thumbs up, five stars and all that jazz! Last salon I'll ever need to find again. 9/30/2007

Tres Jolie salon has won me over. I read the reviews on City search and took a chance. And I am so glad I did. I visited the web-site for the salon and made an appointment with Benjamin Rodich. All I can say is, he is nothing short of amazing. I have always had boring hair cuts and simple colors. He used three colors and turned my boring hair into a sassy and trendy style. I have already sent three friends in to him and I took a stack of his cards and give them to all the people that know. Also, Dana is a gem. She works at the front desk but is nothing like your ordinary receptionist. I have never been so happy with my hair. Thank you Tres Jolie, I will be coming back forever!!! Truly Impressed! 9/24/2007

I must say that after visiting Bryce at Tres Jolie, I fell in love with my hair. He cut it in a way that is flattering to me and exactly fits my lifestyle.
