Worst

I haven't had my hair done there,but I got some waxing done, and it was NOT a good job....they missed a bunch of hairs and pulled some of my skin off...SO, maybe hair, waxing....t...

Absolutely Wonderful People and Great Service! 11/10/2009

I moved to Minneapolis a year ago and had the great fortune of coming across Tres Jolie Salon online. I have had absolutely wonderful cuts from Matthew and great color from Marlee. The service is always first rate, the work is top notch, and the atmosphere is wonderful. If you are looking for a salon in the Twin Cities, you will not be disappointed in Tres Jolie or in Matthew and Marlee. Pros: Great Cut and Color, Great Service more

High End Salon 11/8/2009

I am new to Minneapolis, have short, white hair which badly needed a hair cut. Based upon prior reviews, I decided to try Benjamin. He listened, asked questions, and then made some great suggestions. He gave me a shampoo/head massage that felt so good. He really took his time--cutting my hair wet and then again after my hair dried. I was very pleased with the results and am looking forward to my next appointment which will just be a trim. Pros: Great hair cut more

Always a wonderful experience 10/14/2009

Gina has cut my hair for years because her cuts consistently are fantastic. She has incredible talent, skill, and sensitivity to my lifestyle and individual needs. I always receive compliments on my cuts and refer other clients. I completely trust her with my hair, and she is a joy to be around! Fantastic salon experience! 10/13/2009

I recently moved to the Twin Cities, and chose Tres Jolie based on the excellent reviews here and the information found on the salon's fantastic website. I had a color consultation with Marlee, who I'll be back to see soon, and a cut with Bryce. He was absolutely fantastic! Not only did he take time to ask me lots of questions about my hair, how much I worked with it, etc., he also took great care looking at my hair and seeing how it was currently cut before he even touched his scissors. I have very fine hair and he knew exactly what to do to get the most from it. In addition to being a fantastic stylist, he is an incredibly nice person. He is kind and gregarious, and I was at my ease from the moment I got there. It was easily the most fun I'd had at a salon in ages. The salon is chic without being pretentious and is very easy to find (and has a parking lot!). The women at the front desk were pleasant and efficient, both when I called and when I visited. Wonderful Salon! 10/3/2009

This is just what any girl wants in a salon. Spencer and Don colored and cut my hair - as soon as I walked in, they were looking over my hair providing recommendations and discussing how to improve things. Too weighted on one side, color was a little harsh in the front, etc., etc...they know exactly what to tweak to make your hair a perfect fit for your face. I'm very happy with the results. My hair feels lighter and healthier and the color is great. A side from being hair experts, they were extremely friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely be going back! My fave salon of all time! 9/15/2009

I moved to the Cities about two years ago from the NY Metro area and was worried about finding a high-quality salon. I was referred to Tres Jolie by a friend and have happily seen Mark for color and Benjamin for cut ever since. There is just something about the Tres Jolie atmosphere that makes it relaxing and homey, although it is a high-end salon, and I've always come out looking and feeling like a million bucks. I definitely recommend it to anyone! Pros: High quality of service, great personalities, atmosphere Cons: none! more

Call Benjamin - he makes you feel fabulous and does great hair! \r \r Went into today for another fabulous day with Benjamin - he really does do great hair - from the shampoo which is scuptous to the haircut and the style. Great Experience, Best Stylist 9/10/2009

This is such a wonderful salon. I chose this Salon after reading the reviews here, I was initially a little skeptical as to how it would turn up, but after my consultation with Benjamin I was absolutely relaxed. He has magic in his hands; he suggested a good hair style for me and also did a wonderful job. I am so happy with my new hair style. The best thing about Benjamin is just that he can create the style as in your mind and also give you tips to recreate the style. Fun experience! 8/22/2009

Benjamin cut and styled my hair yesterday. I really liked it when he was done and I got several compliments on it. He's patient about explaining how to style your hair, how to keep it healthy, etc. I will definitely be back. I've got very fine short hair and he knew exactly how to cut it. Thank you, Benjamin! I've tried salon after salon trying to get the right haircut. After what was a disaster, I went to Tres Jolie, hoping for someone to fix it. They did more then that, I feel confident and great about my haircut now! Gina was my stylist, and throughout the haircut we talked comfortably and she made sure I was informed on what was happening and asked questions on how I wanted it done. Best. Salon. Out there. I have straight hair and am growing out a super short cut. Transitioning from a stylist in DC, and was pretty nervous about finding a local stylist. Benjamin put me totally at ease-- from the minute I spoke with him on the phone until I saw him today for my haircut. He understood my issues, and my vision for where I want to be when my hair is longer. In the meantime, I have a healthy and stylish cut that I totally love. Might not end up growing it out after all... The Kerastase products are wonderful as well... Thanks Benjamin!! Pros: Inviting atmosphere. Great staff. Great products. Went to Tres Jolie just based upon the reviews on Citysearch...and the reviews were all on point. The staff was welcoming and professional. The environment was upscale, inviting, and comfortable. I have been a client of my color technician ( Spencer) and hair stylist ( Matthew ) for more than 5 years, following them to Tres Jolie. If I couldn't book an appointment with either of them I would feel 100% comfortable with any of their other stylists / technicians. My favorite stylists / technicians are :\r Matthew - cut\r Melissa - cut\r Spencer - color\r Mark - color \r \r Thank you Tres Jolie for a consistent, enjoyable salon where I KNOW my needs are always met. I am echoing all the positive reviews on this website. I felt so comfortable and welcomed. Marlee did an awesome job with my color. Normally I would just read a magazine the whole time but we talked the whole time she was highlighting my hair! Benjamin was very easy to talk to as well. He listened to what I wanted even when I didn't have a clear idea of what I was going for. Marlee and Benjamin gave me exactly what I wanted! I will definately be back! Great Place for a cut 7/19/2009

Bryce is amazing! I had not had my hair cut in 6 months and it was a disaster. Bryce asked me about my lifestyle and what I wanted and then throughout the cut, confirmed what he was doing. I love my cut and will be back in 8 wks. If you want a superior cut, ask for Bryce - he is awesome! Pros: Great environment, people and products more

Found my new salon! 6/28/2009

I recently relocated back to the Twin Cities after living in Los Angeles for 6 years. I was very nervous about finding a salon and stylists that I trust my hair to. After reading such good reviews about Tres Jolie, I made an appointment for highlights with Marlee last month. She was so sweet and I was so happy with my lovely blonde highlights. She recommended Bryce for a cut and I recently took her advice and went in for a cut with Bryce. He brought life back to my hair and I felt like I bounced out of the salon! He not only made my hair look great, but he made me feel like I had been coming to the salon for years. Also a nice touch was the hand written note I received a few days later from him and Marlee, welcoming me back to Minnesota! Pros: Nice atmosphere, friendly and professional staff more
