I ended up at Tim's by the advice of my co-workers. I work in building, so it's convenient to just pop down on your lunch break. I only ended up their because I wanted my hair done for the weekend after Thanksgiving and it was already the day before Thanksgiving. Most salons were booked or closed for Friday, etc. I gave a call down and they worked me into the schedule. I had Jerry and she did a great job. I liked the cut, but what I liked more was the time she spent styling it. I would have liked to know what products she was using (so, at least you know now that there isn't sales pressure). A lot of places I've gone to seem to blow-dry and send me on my way, but she took time. The staff was also very curteous. Price was about $45 for wash, cut, and style. I think it was worth it in a pinch, but I'm not sure Tim's would always be my first choice.
Pros: Convenience, great staff, friendly, no sales pressure, felt good afterwards.
Cons: Small salon, crowded, downstairs near the rails and parking garage is shady.
