Mike and his staff at Tilden are the best. We've been using them for years for all 6 of our cars. They are fast, courteous, and HONEST. Will not trust anyone else with our vehicles. more

After spending multiple hours day after day, these guys could not fix my car. I had them replace the same part 3 times and they still couldn't figure out why the same part kept messing up. I finally took it to the dealer and to Pep Boys to have it checked out. They both said that the guys at Tilden had forced the part in wrong and that was why my car kept breaking down. I tried multiple times to contact the owner at Tilden to let him know what the other 2 mechanic shops had said about his service. He never returned my calls or bothered to refund the $300+ he took from me. Stay away from this place!!! Pep Boys replaced the exact same part, but did it right I have not had any problems since. more

I've been using Tilden's since 2003 and always had the best of service. Mechanics are excellent and friendly and prices are reasonable more

I take both of our Family Vehicles here. This is a very honest mechanic. Mike is very straight forward telling you what is broken and needs to be fixed now and what will break but you should wait until it does. Good Prices. If Mike couldn't find any problems, he never made up stories of something else to fix. I would just take my car home. I trust this guy and will continue to use his services. more

have taken two vehicles there a ford and a chrysler, the works been done to the quote and on time, My mother in law likes them recommend them to anyone, I am not au fait with cars, so I need to trust who I go to, I trust Mike and his shop.Never pushy or condescending which is a big plus, great service by good people Pros: Service and price more

I took my car in for a water leak and oil leak. They said the pressure in the colloing sustem was fine and said the radiator cap needed replacing. No sign of oil leak but the car needed an alignment. 177.00 later I picked up the car and drove it around. It was still leaking water and occassional puffs of smoke were coming from under the hood. Took it back. They then said the water pump needed replacing. They replaced that and determined the high pressure hose on the power steering needed replacing. Add an additional 750.00 for that. Picked it up, drove it and there was still a clear fluid leaking. Took it back. They said it was just condensation from the AC. Told them I had not run the A/C and the car had been sitting for several hours. They looked at me like I was an idiot and insisted it was condensation from the A/C. I took it home and the next morning there was a puddle of clear fluid. I checked the power steraing fluid an it was empty. So it appears that the clear fluid leaking was power stearing fluid. Decided not to take it back to them. By now I could have put a nice down payment on another car. I don't think they took the time to really diagnosis the problems or even listen to me. They had the car for one week and I don't think they ever really looked at the fluid that was leaking. After I purchased a bottle of power steering fluid to fill the resivoir I knew exactly that that was what was leaking under the car. Never knew power stearing fluid was clear and watery looking. I will never use them again and would not recommend them. Cons: Did not do a through job at diagnosisng the problem. more
