food really reasonable especially for beacon hill. it's also delicious. doesn't get 5 stars because i hate waiting in line more

Great breakfast 1/13/2006

The Paramount may be the best casual restaurant in all of Boston. Serving typical diner fare in Beacon Hill, this restaurant is considered an institution by many locals. Brunch on Sunday is the most popular meal, and the line often goes out the door because of this. The french toast is said to be the best in the city, so the wait may be worth it. The Paramount is also an excellent value. The American-themed entrees are cheap and well-prepared. Service is okay--- especially when you consider the price and aptmosphere. more

Absolutely excellent food! Brunch at the Paramount was one of the best breakfasts I've had in Boston! Warning: on a Sunday morning, we stood in line for 45 minutes, so make sure you have the time to wait The food is definitely worth the wait though - so far, I love the pancakes and the eggs, and I plan on going back again for the french toast! more
