I needed to take my car in for tire service. I guess one of the tires wasn't getting anywhere and needed a fast replacement. So I went to these friendly folks while driving out of town even though they were pretty far from where I am. But the recommendations I got from my friends convinced me to give them a go for their service. And let me just say that they are an outstanding group of mechanics and technicians. They obviously know what they are doing and replaced my tires in no time! Great service plus a great price won me over!

This car repair shop is wonderful. The owner is very honest, very nice and competent. I was recommended to Franks by a Southie local who swore by this place and now I do too. Frank does not over charge and he is known for being honest. They work on car repair work only therefore no oil changes are done here. If he keeps your car overnight, it is kept in a chain linked lot for safety which is nice. Great place.

Its located in chinatown. This is not the best neighborhood, but there are only a few places where you can go for these things. I figure you get what you pay for. If this is what you are looking for, then, this is the place to be. All in all, it is a good experience and I would do it again.

After a horrid experience at Firestone next door, I went to Monroe when my alternator went out. Joe, the technician I worked with, recommended a towing company and tried (though unsuccessfully) to get a reduced price on the tow. He then spotted me $40 (out of his own pocket) to help pay the cash-only tow price! He gave me an EXCELLENT price on a new alternator, battery and replaced the awful brakes that Firestone had put on the year before! I couldn't recommend them more, especially Joe
