My buddy and I chose this place to plan a surprise birthday for our wives, as both ladies turned 30.
Radius did an excellent job in making their evening special. The hostess was well prepared with a plan in place for the surprise and staff did a fine job coordinating everything.
We were a group of 8 with one kid. Everyone loved their entree. The appetizers, main course and dessert were consistently good. Unlike other high end restaurants, the staff was polite, friendly, and accommodating.
Will highly recommend for special occasions or even just a romantic night out.
Pros: consistently delicious food, warm welcoming staff
Cons: none

I've come here for a few my birthday dinners over the years and am never disappointed. Definitely the ambiance is representative of the South of France and I clearly remember the actual Mistral in Provence, that famous wind that sweeps through violently and often out of nowhere. This restaurant has the same sort of enchantment and allure of being in Southern France itself whatwith not only the shrubbery in pots around the room, but also with the gynormous photos of lavendar fiedls and other Provencal scenery hanging around the room. The high ceilings give you a great sense of vertical space and rising. For my special occasion, I had the Kir Royale, and escargot, and the catch of the day which was Red Snapper. For dessert the profiteroles were delectable, covered in not only yummo fudge sauce but also pistachios. My friends and I were well attended to and the service was 5-star. Would definitely go again for a special occasion and/ or to just sit up at the bar which has a lively and buzzing atmosphere separate from the dining room, with the shrubs acting as a natural and pretty noise / wall barrier.
Pros: South of France feel / 5-star service
Cons: a tad overpriced / portion sizes are a little small

This restaurant is of course top notch, but I don't think the decor has been updated since it was built. It's a little distracting. I was thinking about having my wedding there, but I'm not sure how that would look in photos. Yes the views are amazing and the food is spectacular, but let's pick on perfection: it's dated. The Prudential Center holds a special place in my heart and this tops it.
Pros: Food, Views, Elegance
Cons: Dated

My friends and I went to dinner and a few drinks last night the place was great. I had the pumpkin risotto what a great treat. I couldn't get enough of it. Waitress was wonderful, chef came out to visit to see how our meal was, and cocktails were superb. Try this place it is great.
Pros: Off street parking

I had lunch today at Houston's with my husband. I decided to try one of their simple grilled fish specials: cod topped with marcona almonds. The portion of the cod was puny, and it was covered by a tad too many Marcona almonds. Now, I love Marcona almonds--they hail from Spain and are the Rolls Royce of almonds--but they seemed an after thought on this dish. The micro portion of fish was accompanied by a bland side of sauteed spinach (where's the garlic?) The sticker shock happened only after I looked at the tab. My lunch-size portion of cod cost me a whopping $29! I felt robbed. $29 would have been pushing it even for a dinner entree. Lesson learned: never order market price without first inquiring about the price. I think we'll go elsewhere next time my husband meets me in town for lunch. By the way, the steak on my husband's Thai steak salad was tough, but my husband is loathe to complain about food at restaurants whereas I think it's important to provide feedback so they can improve. One would think that a steak house would at least get the steak right.

From the moment we were greeted to the last dessert spoonful, a delightful experience. We went on a Monday (offer choice of 3 course fixed price menus for $35) and avoided the crowds. Comp starter mango avocado mousse was dazzling, appetizers devine, entrees outrageously delicious. Soft shell crab a triumph, seafood stew and short ribs very strong. We made sure to leave room for dessert and were not dissappointed. Service very solid. Took my son (the chef) for his birthday, and he can be tough to take to a restaurant. He was blown away. We'll be back.
Pros: Outstanding food
Cons: Slightly noisy, even when not full
