The Nine Zero is one of Boston's top boutique hotels. Located right next to the Boston Commons, the hotel (a Kimpden hotel), has some of the nicest rooms you'll find in the city. Definitely expensive, but worth the price if you can afford it.

The Oak Bar and the Oak Room is really upscale eating and drinking but it comes at a price. The wine list is extensive but the prices are out of control - a Heitz Cellar bottle was listed for around $120 and I bought the same bottle for around $40. The steak was really good although the chateaubriand took very long but it was well worth it. Wear a jacket, they will not turn you away but you will stand out if you do not.

A beautiful, romantic setting in the heart of downtown Boston. Near great sites like the North End and Fanueil Hall. It is your idea of the perfect hotel. The architecture is beautiful giving everyone--even passersby-- a gaze at Boston Harbor. The front of the building is gorgeous just don't look at the highway behind you. Once into the building, you are overlooking the harbor which is beautiful. The Sunday brunch-time 'Tea' is incredible and oh so relaxing. Serviced with white glove service overlooking the Harbor. Very chic and relaxing. My favorite Sunday pastime when family visits.

I love everything about XV Beacon. The location (top of Beacon Street near the statehouse) is great. The service is A+. The rooms are beautiful, quiet, and luxurious. The price is reasonable for the level of service. They have their own car service to run you around town. Everything just works.

XV Beacon was like staying in a dream hotel. The lobby is hip and the rooms are a cross between early American charm and modern conveniences. I lay on my four poster bed with the radio playing softly and snuggled in to a good book. What heaven!

The Omni Parker House hotel has been a Boston institution for centuries, yet the rooms have been recently updated to include modern amenities as well. The rooms are full of history and character with guests having a choice of decor upon reservation. Room 13 is said to be haunted by one of the former patrons.
The restaurant at the Omni Parker House is credited with serving the first Boston creme pie and patrons can still enjoy this treat today. Service here is impeccable and worth the higher price tag of your stay.

On one of the coolest streets in Beacon Hill is this private, quiet little gem. Each of the nine rooms has been stunningly decorated and named for a historic figure. We stayed in the Henry James room, a king with canopy. After seeing 7 of the nine rooms we would have been happy in any of them. Having stayed in 5 star hotels all over the world, Paris, Beijing, Vienna, this Inn rivals the best in detail while being true to an historic ideal. Within a half a block from the front door are wonderful shops, bars and restaurants. A perfect location to leave the car and explore by foot or subway. They have therapy tubs and a fireplace in every room! A true taste of the Victorian era with all the modern conveniences. We will be back! Lisa, Kestlesmom

This place is certainly spiffy. I was having a few beers in Solas when I asked the bartender where the bathroom was. She told me to go out this door and down the stairs...and I found myself in the Lenox Hotel Lobby. I thought she was playing a trick on me, but there were bathrooms in the lobby. Each urinal had a little flatscreen monitor. Even though I was in jeans and a T-shirt, I was treated cordially by staff and patrons in 3-piece suits. Nice to rub elbows sometimes...

My wife and I have stayed at this Sheraton twice and had great experiences both times. The city view is fantastic and the hotel location is perfect. We like that you can walk right in to the Prudential Center from the hotel without going outside. The staff has always been very professional and helpful. We will be back again.
Pros: Location, Nice rooms, Good staff

I planned this trip for my husband as a surprise before our first baby comes in January. I work in the Hotel industry and found myself taking notes about how to improve my 4 star property through stealing ideas from the staff of the Lenox.
Upon arrival, valet was prompt, quick and informational. Led us into the front desk for our check in. The front desk staff answered all of my questions, pointed me to great restaurants, shopping ect. Asked if I needed anything special and why I was visiting Boston. I felt like family! We walked into our room and immediately, the phone was ringing to see if "everything was to our liking". I had prearranged for sparkingling cidar and chocolate covered strawberries to be delievered and they were waiting for us!
The room was a handicapp accessible room (which we didn't need) but enjoyed the space! The view...there wasn't one, but that was not on our list of important details. The bathroom was VERY spacious and clean. The only little problem...the sink counter space is way to small to put any of your toiletries on. If that's all I have to complain about, then it was a perfect stay.
The conceirge knows his stuff and doesn't hesitate to reccommend places to eat, shop ect. Also, the manager on duty in the lobby greets EVERYONE with personal contact of a hello, nod, smile or a question about their stay.
Perfect location for the Hotel, as we walked all over the city. Close to Newbury, Fenway, and if you're up to is, Faneuill Hall. I would absolutely go back to this hotel!!
Pros: Great location
