If you have a young child, this is the place to bring him/her. It is a great way to spend a day. The museum itself is expensive but there are alot of libraries that you can get discounted tickets. Even if you have to spend full price it is a nice way to spend a day once a year. They have so much. There is alot of interactive activities that the kids can do. The kids have a great time and the museum keeps them busy for hours.

This is an incredible Presidential Library. I have been to quite a few, and this is certainly one of the best. There is something special about the library that you feel the moment you walk into the fabulous building set overlooking the water. Here you have one of Massachusetts' favorite son's revealed in a marvelous way. You have the chance to learn about JFK as well as his family and upbringing. There are some fabulous personal items of both the President and the first Lady on display. What a great resource not only for learning about one of our presidents, but for getting a deeper glimpse into one of the beloved and mysterious leaders of the times.

The Boston Public Library is an amazing place to visit. Even if you don't crack open a book the entire time you are in the facility, you will walk away enlightened! The building is one of the most beautiful architectural masterpieces in Boston. It truly feels like a museum throughout the building! There is an amazing courtyard in the center of the building where you can relax on a bench and read a book. In these days of consumerism, people tend to forget about the luxury of a free library, where you can have access to any book in the world!
I highly recommend a visit!
Enjoy!

The Communication Disorders department at Emerson is excellent. The facilities are less than 10 years old, the faculty is tremendous, and the range of placement possibilities are very wide. When I was applying to Masters programs, other schools told me about how great their research was and so on, but at Emerson, I was told that the primary focus is on the students, especially at the masters level. Additionally, students are encouraged to work together as much as possible in most classes, which is great preparation for the real world.
The only minor drawback is that there is more focus on child language disorders than on adults. I was able to create my own class to study more adult language disorders, however.
Emerson is an arts and communications college for undergrad, so you may not think of it for communication disorders, but it really is first rate.

This library is in the ghetto. What do you think? Do you think the library is ghetto? I am here to tell you that it is very ghetto. The library looks very bad. It really needs a makeover. I don't know if it because black people live here in Roxbury, this city needs funding and a lot of help. They have books and computers but unfortunately loud teenagers are the one always taking over and they also come attached with their strollers with crying babies. Most of them are blacks, I saw a few hispanics. The staff is mixed. The customers are blacks. I did not see one white person in the library. I used their computer and left. I will not come back to use the computer. I rather go to Roxbury Community College it is more accessible. Truereview here to tell you the truth.
