A Nice Surprise 1/30/2005

One wouldn't expect this off the highway restuarant to have fabulous sushi. We were quite surprised. The service was great and the food was even better. We ordered the catapillar roll, edamame, and miso soup. The catapillar roll not only looked good but tasted superb. One should also go during happy hour. The prices are great. Elegant decor, freshest sushi 11/9/2004

Their sushi is the most consistently fresh I've had in Austin. That's in comparison to 7 other sushi restaurants. (Except Uchi, which I could only afford once!) The flavors are beautifully balanced whether I've ordered the maki, hand rolls, or tempura rolls. The sushi rice is perfectly seasoned too. Ignore the location among I-35 diners, the interior is elegant. The lunch specials are an incredible bargain, the quality and taste are worth twice the price. more

If you're craving japanese food, then I highly recommend this restaurant. The service and quality of the food are excellent, their special rolls are very delicious and everything is at a good price! more

best sushi roll 8/17/2004

Their special Hot Night Roll is one of the best sushi rolls I've ever had. It has shrimp tempura and avocado on the inside and spicy tuna on top with their special spicy sauce. They also have really good lunch specials that come with miso soup. more
