My husband & I arrived at the restaurant shortly after 7pm on a Friday. The wait to get seated was long, even though the restaurant was empty. Only 6 tables were seated. After we were seated the waitress took at least 15 minutes before greeting us & asking us what beverage we wanted. We kept our cool & patience & treated her with alot of courtesy anyway. What bothered us was that she took the orders of 2 other tables that arrived after us! Then she brought out our dinner before the appetizer. The appetizer came 20 minutes into our dinner. She also didn't even ask us if we wanted miso soup or salad with our food. She just brought us one of each! After that treatment, my husband & I decided to enjoy our dinner anyway. We were in the middle of a conversation & the waitress came & asked my husband if he was done & he said yes. She proceeded to take his plate, & then mine. She didn't ask me if I was done, & I was obviously still chewing, I even had the chopsticks still in my hand! This place has potential to have good ambiance, but it was definitely missing anything good that night. Each of our plates were at least $20. We ordered appetizers and drinks. You would think we would get decent service, since that affects the tip. We got nothing good. The beef wasn't even well done, like I asked for it. As my husband & I continued our conversation, she even proceeded to take our drinks from the table! Not that she refilled them when needed anyway. She even rushed us off our table. She actually said ""time to go home""!!! If she was joking, she certainly did not have a good enough rapport with us to be able to joke this way. This was our first visit and our last. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It was $70-some wasted. And yes, we did give her the proper 17% tip anyway. Though she did not at all deserve it!!!
Pros: parking (because everyone else was wise enough not to eat here!!)
Cons: service, food quality, cleanliness
