Great breakfast place 7/6/2006

I've been to Squat & Gobble twice and so far the foods and service is good. I like the breakfast selections and the dessert crepes look awesome (althogh I haven't try it). Portion is pretty big, and my fav thing is the fresh squeezed OJ. The only setback, parking is sometimes hard. Pros: good breakfast food, fresh OJ, nice ambiance Cons: Parking more

Tasty crepes 4/26/2004

Although the crepes at Squat & Gobble don't much resemble crepes you'll find in France, they are tasty nevertheless. In fact, you could probably argue they're better than a lot of the crepes you'll find abroad. The selection is great & there are plenty of options for vegetarians. Portion sizes are definitely ample. I wouldn't recommend going here for the ambiance- the decor, etc. is pretty bare-bones. But, for a quick, casual meal, this place is great. Pros: Inexpensive, ample portions, good selection more

Great variety of quality food 9/23/2002

I have eaten there at least a dozen times over the past month and am not bored yet, since the selection is huge and everything on it is good no matter if it's breakfast, lunch or dinner. Food is very innovative with a good mix of healthy ingredients and always tastes very fresh. Typical SF variety from French to Mexican to Chinese to American food. Service is quick and friendly and ambience is very good with great background music. Prices are very good considering the quality and quantity of food, especially if you skip the drink and get the free lemon flavored water. Pros: Variety, Fresh Ingredients, Desert Crepes Cons: No parking, Crowded on Weekend more

Why settle for IHOP? 7/1/2002

Probably one of the best places to go for brunch on any given weekend. An Amazon.com selection of crepes & other breakfast items but at Wal-Mart prices. Try the mediterranean or the pesto chicken crepes. Pros: Selection, Food w/Finesse, Everything's Good Cons: Gets kinda crowded, Parking is dreadful, Don't go starving more
