Sirianni Automotive

I have been taking my truck to the Sirianni's for years. I even moved to Austin and won't take my vehicles to anyone else, because sometimes it can be hard to find a mechanic you can trust. No doubt they are honest and straight forward. Recently my truck was making a noise upon acceleration. I took it to Lou Jr. and it ended up being a bad transmission. It was still under factory warranty and he handled everything. Lou made sure he communicated with the company that did the repairs. I did nothing besides take him my truck and pick up when he said it would be ready, just on time as always. For getting a re-built transmission, he made it a very pain free process. There is no one I trust more than Lou Jr. and Lou Sr. Great family owned company that will always treat you honest no matter what size job. I highly recommend for someone who needs a mechanic to remember them and treat them right with hands on service. more

I have dealt with Sirianni Automotive for 12 years or longer and I have had no problems at all. They provide good service. They check the tires while they servicing other areas. The last thing I did with them, they sold me a set of tires and they replaced a broken plastic seat covering on the driver's side. Sirianni Automotive does the regular maintenance on 3 of our cars. They also take care of any repairs as well. They have always been direct and effective in their service and in solving problems. They haven't created any issues that were not already there. I am totally comfortable recommending them. I have been using them approaching 5 years. They have a real strong technical edge. They are competent, and I have lots of confidence with them, even with brand new cars. They provide whatever is needed. more

Sirianni Automotive saved me a $900 charge from another shop. I had my car in a different shop, and they were saying I needed a new alternator. They were trying to use the hard pressure tactics, saying that they already had my car apart, and that I had to use their service. They were trying to charge me for putting the car back together and saying that if I couldn't pay we could go through financing. I told them no and made them put the car back together so that I could get a second opinion. I took it to Sirianni Automotive and found out that it was really just a battery problem, and my battery was still under warranty. I ended up paying about $30. They weren't going to charge me at all, but I wanted to pay for some labor at least since they had taken the time to figure out what was really going on. I have also used Sirianni for other services as well. It really is a mom and pop store. They value the relationships with their customers and it shows in how they treat you. If I need a ride, they are good enough to give me a ride too. They are conservative in the approach to how they repair your car. If the vehicle doesn't really need a repair they are not going to do it unless the customer really wants it done. A lot of shops will do it even if it is not totally necessary. Sirianni puts the decision in the hands of the customer. They also don't use scare tactics. Especially if you are not mechanically inclined, scare tactics, like being told you will break down on the side of the road soon, can be intimidating. I like the non-pressure atmosphere at Sirianni. They really care about their customers. As Louie says, he wants to be able to be approached by a customer in a restaurant as a friend instead of having to look the other way. It is hard to find an honest mechanic like Louie who will do it right and not take you for a ride. more

I have been a friend and associate of Louie Sirianni for twenty years, and I have been a customer of his for years. I have spent several thousand dollars on repairs with Sirianni Automotive, and my experience has been nothing but good. I brought my car in first thing Monday morning with a bad wheel bearing and in 23 hours he had it back on the road. If there is an issue with anything, they find the problem and make the necessary recommendation to correct it. They are not the most inexpensive, but they are honest and dependable. You don't want to go to a place that is known to be low-price but does not get the job done. You pay for what you get. You can be sure Sirianni Automotive is going to do the job correctly. It seems like I have been a patron of Sirianni Automotive for nearly 30 years. I don’t know how I discovered them, but I refer people to them all the time. Frequently, someone will feel they must share their automotive mechanic disaster story and I am able to say that I know somewhere they can trust and get the job done right. I’m compelled to write this review because I was extra pleased recently when my 16 year old son bought his first car and it had problems. It had a really bad shake in it when it got going around 50 or 60 miles an hour that we quickly named “the earthquake”… it was bad. It was a starter vehicle for him and he was “on the cheap”. He had asked around and had various friends and “mechanics” offer their opinions that ranged from just park it and forget about it to that’s because of a wreck and it’s bent to where you will never find it or fix it. Even the previous owner had been very candid and said he had driven it like that and had no idea what it was. In short, I suggested he take it to Sirianni Automotive and let our trusted family mechanic look it over. The people there were so helpful and took the time to give the car a complete once over and test drive. They were kind and respectful to my son. They tracked down the problem and gave him the diagnosis. Turns out the connections on each end of the drive shaft were worn out and they were replaceable. We set an appointment to bring it back and get the parts installed and abracadabra… no more earthquake. It’s like a whole other car and he has a new pride and joy in his first car and Dad feels much better with him driving a safe and solid vehicle. Thanks to the owners, staff and “culture of caring” at Sirianni Automotive. Pros: Get the job done right and trust you are treated fairly more
