Good for older children 12/21/2005

I agree with the other reviewer, it is good for older children, not for toddlers or babies. It is a great place to let older children "touch" and "play" with everything. I would recommend trying it out on a Tuesday afternoon (admission is free after 3 pm). IF you do have small children or toddler, go in the mornings-- when it is less crowded. more

Lots of fun for the kids 12/13/2005

The Children's Museum is so cool! Kids & parents can play with so much and learn so much as well. Just about everything is hands-on learning/fun. They have great displays that change and you can go several times a year and never be bored. They have a mini HEB Grocery store that is just really neat and the kids loved it! I think it was the favorite part of our visit. They have birthday party packages as well. more

A nice place for older children... 8/12/2005

but not very baby friendly. There is a spot for babies and little ones (under 4) to play however staff and parents do not monitor the older children so its not really safe. This museum tends to be loud and while there are some interesting exhibits, it is a disappointing children's museum. Parking is also hard to find with the museum being in downtown San Antonio and you will have to pay for parking. For children I recommend the Witte over this museum. more
