I went into this optical shop looking for a new cool pair of specs. I found some i liked, and was upfront with them about wanting to do some price checking. So i asked the salesman to please write down the info of the two pairs i liked. He did this. Then, I walked down the street to another store where they couldnt find the style numbers he wrote down. Well, turns out he merely gave me the I.D. number that his store uses.......knowing I would not be able to find the glasses by them, as they are not the same as the manufacturer style numbers. So I walked back in and asked for the actual style numbers, which I couldn't get by looking at the frames because the store purposely covers them up with a piece of metal you cant remove or see through. The guy was clearly annoyed that I had found him out and said ""im not supposed to tell you this, but fine...the number is ..."" Thats when i realized this store is totally shady as well as a rip off. Turns out the same frames were 50 dollars cheaper at the Ocularium, which is down the street....and which I highly recommend because they are HONEST!!!! SF optincs will NEVER get my money or any of my friends' money!!!!
Pros: Deent selection of quality brands
Cons: Shady, overpriced, overbearing
