Raku 4/10/2006

This is a nice Asian fusion restaurant in the city. They have a sweet patio that I love taking advantage of during the summer. This is a nice place to get a small meal and a drink. There are extensive options on this menu that are more filling but I prefer a night on the patio with some appetizers. more

Raku-An Asian Diner 3/22/2006

This is one of my favorite places to dine in the summer. This restaurant specializes in Asian cuisine. They have an extensive menu. I enjoy this Raku because hey have some of the best appetizers in town. Nothing beats getting a drink and some appetizers with friends, especially in the summer when you can dine outdoors in their great patio area. more

American Asian food 2/21/2006

Raku offers good Asian “tapas” with the traditional speed offered with this dining style. As soon as whatever you order is ready, they bring it out, regardless of whether or not the rest of the table’s food is ready. Still, you might find yourself waiting a long while for drink refills and things like that. The food is good and affordable, but it’s not what you’d want if you were looking for authentic Asian food. more

GREAT food, relaxing atmosphere, affordable 1/28/2006

This moderately priced restaurant in Dupont Circle manages to do several things well...particularly the curries, and martinis. The food is spicy and fresh, and the atmosphere is great. Entrées are generally in the $10 range, and the menu is varied enough that you'll probably be able to find something you'll like, no matter your taste. And although Raku is pretty popular, you'll rarely have to wait more than 5 minutes for a seat. Outdoor seating is available in the warmer weather. One word of warning...parking is scarce in this neighborhood (and if you live in DC, you're well aware of this). Try to take the Red Line metro to Dupont Circle, which is just a block away. Highly recommended. more

Raku Rocks 1/16/2006

Raku is a great Asian fusion restaurant in the DC. All the food here is of high quality, and the prices are not bad either. It is one of my favorite places to meet up with my friends in the city. In the summer they have one of the better patios open in DC. It is great place for people watching and to enjoy some goof food and drinks. more

Fabulous Sushi 9/10/2005

Raku, is a small spot on the corner in DC and from the outside you would not think their food would be so good. It is! The food came quickly, it was seasoned perfectly, and the plum wine was awesome! Nice place for a little quiet time with a loved one without all the fuss. more
