I came to Dana with very bad back and hip pain in May of 2007 and she has been teaching me yoga ever since. She is a great practitioner of yoga - prepared to go at my pace, but also pushing me to work hard at becoming more flexible and focus on my breathing. Since I started working with her, I have seen marked improvements in both flexibility and control of breathing and have become much more aware of my posture, particularly insofar as it affects my back and hips. Since Dana is also a qualified massage therapist, she is also able to work directly on a spot to relieve any relapses in back or hip pain, even during a one-on-one yoga class. Finally, Dana is extremely reliable and has a wonderfully spiritual and friendly manner. Truly, an excellent yoga teacher.
p.s. my wife has had a few massages from her and gives her 5 stars as well.
