The Plush Pad is a good place to take your pets. My cat never looks cuter than she does when she gets home from getting groomed. Also, their shampoo is high quality stuff! She smells amazing for almost two weeks after they are done with her. more

Best dog and cat groomer anywhere 11/21/2011

This is the only place to take a dog or cat to be groomed. My little Zoe has been going there her whole life. She is a 14 years old westie and thanks to their help finding a tumor on her rear leg she will live a full life. I did not even know the tumor was there. They spotted it right away and told my wife. The vet removed the cancer and Zoe has been right as rain ever since. more

May seem a bit on the expensive side, but well worth it! Delicious smelling shampoos and a scissor cut finish! Awesome! more

Buyer beware 7/3/2009

I've taken my two shihtzus to be groomed twice. The first time everything went well. The second time both dogs were matted, the groomers knew it and I knew it. When I picked the dogs up one of them had several bad burns and ended up being taken to the vet to get treatment. The guy who took my money blamed the burns on the dog for 'being dirty' ('it just happens sometimes!') and then proceeded to fleece me for an extra $20 for a 'matted' fee. So, the whole trip cost about $170, not including the $150 trip to the vet to get the dogs skin taken care of. While the place is better than Petco etc. I'd strongly advise you NOT to take your dog in on a busy day. You can drop them off at 9 a.m. and they are never ready before 5:00. It makes you wonder if they are sending them out someplace else to be groomed.....like dry cleaning or something. Pros: usually very good Cons: but sometimes VERY bad, expensive more

Plush Pad Tender Loving Care 3/26/2008

I have been a customer of Plush Pad for over 8 years, and I LOVE them. I have spent time in the back where the animal companions are kept, bathed, clipped and loved. The staff talks to the cats and dogs and treats them like their own. I have never seen any animal in distress in their care. Of course there are some little guys (and big), who are naturally nervous, but they are sweet talked and calmed as much as possible. Compassion is never in short supply, I highly reccomend Plush Pad to anyone who wants their lil' darling to be in the best of hands, with no worries. Also a great selection of Doggie wear. more

Always worth it! 2/6/2008

While we have a pekingese with a high maintenance coat, the kind and wonderful staff at Plush Pad never chastises us for letting him get tangled or messy. They treat him as though he was their own pet and with the utmost care. We had a terrible experience at another groomer and while he doesn't like to get groomed, he always looks beautiful and happy when we pick him up. They charge no more than I would expect for the perfectly coiffed pup that comes home with us. The staff has also had great recommendations for other pet services in town. more

My favorite salon to date 4/14/2007

After some negative experiences in the past regarding my skiddish cocker spaniel, Plush Pad left me wowed. After fitting me in last minute for the highly coveted Saturday appointment, I picked up my pooch early afternoon and found him looking the best I have ever seen. They did an absolutely fantastic job! They even gave him a toy to celebrate his first visit which has not left his mouth since. Despite the fact that my pup has a history of nervousness, they said he was well behaved and they had no problems with him. Pros: excellent customer service, easy scheduling, good location Cons: pricey ($80 for a 20lb dog) more

Not Worth It 4/10/2007

I have taken my puppy to a couple different groomers but I was hoping to find one that would give him more personal attention and make him look the way a well groomed puppy should look. However, not only did they scare the dickens out of him, he cried and screamed the whole time I was picking him up. He looked very unhappy and I did not like the bow or bandana they put on him. I felt like I just wasted 3 hours and $70, I will definately tell my friends and family about this place and most obviously NOT recommend it to ANYONE. more

Show your pet you love them with a gift from Plush Pad 8/30/2005

We were driving by on our way home one day and decided to stop and see what they had to offer for pets. We walked in and my first impression was great! They had alot of items for both cats and dogs, and what caught my eye was the fact that they carried mostly non-toxic items. Safety around pets is such a priority I thought this place is great! The workers were friendly and eager to help. Keeps us going back. Oh yeah, and the boys love the fresh catnip! PROS: Non-toxic items, lots of toys, grooming services CONS: Only open until 6 p.m. more
