Best

If you like bagels even remotely, you need to try Noah's Bagels. I've only found one in Seattle,so far, which is the one in the U Village. But it is so worth it to keep looking....

Worst

Unfortunately, I have not found a good bagel shop since I moved up here 2 years ago. While this place is ok, it is definitely not the best. The bagels were kind of stale but I did...

Not so great bagels 1/17/2011

This is a huge corporate chain, selling very bland, soft, boring bagels. There are much better local vendors such as Bagel Deli on Capitol Hill or The Grateful Bread in Wedgewood that make far, far better, more flavorful bagels. more

Good bagels, bad service 12/6/2009

The title says it all. more

Atlantic salmon at Noah's 7/25/2009

I was amazed that threatened Atlantic Salmon processed in Chile was being sold here in the Northwest where Sockeye or Pacific Salmon comes from the best managed fishery in the U.S. What is Noah thinking?? more

As close to NY bagels as you can get in Seattle 12/10/2006

I regularly stop in for a baker's dozen so that I can have them sliced & ready in the freezer for when I need a bagel fix. They're great toasted (after thawing in the microwave for ~30 seconds). They have a variety of bagels along with a number of different schmears (cream cheese-based toppings). They also have bagels for dogs (Maisie & Mister Magoo enjoy them!). more

Another location for Noah's Bagels - Mercer Island 11/27/2006

If you're headed across I-90 and get a hankering for bagels you can stop off on MI now and pick up a quick baker's dozen of bagels from Noah's. Back when the bagel fad began to fade I was disheartened to see so many bagel shops going out of business - I'm a huge fan no matter what the latest food fad might be. The MI location is a pretty good sized place in terms of allowance for seating - and it stayed busy as I was there for a meeting. It sits across from a QFC and there is parking in the building it's in but you have to look for the entrance by the WaMu drive thru exit. Table sizes in the joint vary so different groups can all fit comfortably. The one thing the staff could do more often though is to wipe off the seats at the tables - too many little hands that have schmear on them then put their hands all over the seating areas. Be sure to watch out before you sit down. The staff was uber friendly and I had several fresh faced teens asking to take my order as I tried to figure which flavors to take home in my half dozen. Fresh OJ is good and a nice option to coffee. more

Schmear here 3/30/2006

If you like bagels even remotely, you need to try Noah's Bagels. I've only found one in Seattle,so far, which is the one in the U Village. But it is so worth it to keep looking. These guys are all over where I am from in Cali, and I thought they would long be a thing of the past. But there's hope. If you're lucky, you'll come when the bagels are warm and soft out of the oven. They even smell better then. But they are great anytime you get them. I can't even describe what it is about a Noah's Bagel that makes it so above and beyond any of their competitors. Just try it out. Alex likes to have his with the veggie schmear, but my favorite is salmon. They don't have Asiago bagels at the one in U-Village, it's not kosher. But if you ever find a non-kosher Noah's, but sure to check it out. more

Not real NY bagels, but the closest to it... 1/29/2006

They aren't really NY bagels, but at least they have a deli feel. The bagels are best hot, so make sure to ask which ones are. We love going there on Sunday mornings because the parking is free and easy on Capital Hill as the whole neighborhood wakes up. Particularly popular in our house are the egg bagels, the Everythings, the blueberry and if you are really lucky, the pumpkin in the fall and then there is always chocolate chip. Personally, I don't like the over done bagels, the best ones are toasted with a smear of cream cheese :-) The best deal in the house by the way is bagel box, this is a bakers dozen plus two tubs of cream cheese for $11 for plain, $12 for flavored. A good morning treat! more

bagels are bagels 9/4/2005

I've been in and out of here a few times, it isn't anything fancy but it's not bad. Honestly, bagels are bagels to me...but when they make those fancy ones that have stuff in them...those are sweet. Pizza bagels, cheesy bagels, etc. That's what I'm talking about! The line is long in during the lunch time and early in the morning, but what do you expect it's a bagel shop! more

Welp they are bagels 8/31/2005

Unfortunately, I have not found a good bagel shop since I moved up here 2 years ago. While this place is ok, it is definitely not the best. The bagels were kind of stale but I did like the cream cheese. They do have options for vegans but they do not have that much of a selection. If you go early in the morning do expect a line, however you can go when shopping (it is in QFC at U-Village) making it very convienent! more

Best bagels I've eaten 7/28/2005

Words can hardly describe the yummy bagels available at Noah's. I've gone there several times for breakfast and can hardly contain my excitement as I'm en route. Noah's has all sorts of fresh, homemade bagels. My favorite are the onion bagel and the garlic bagel. Noah's also has a wide assortment of cream cheeses. My personal favorite is the vegetable cream cheese. The only complaint would be that these bagels are so good, you want to eat 2 or 3! They also have bagel sandwiches there, and that's what I want to try next - hopefully a PB&J bagel! more

Excellent Bagels 5/24/2005

Noah's is located in the University Village QFC. There's nothing like a Noah's bagel for breakfast or lunch. You can customize your bagel - my favorite would have to be the raisin bagel with strawberry creamcheese. Kind of weird, but I've tried almost every combination so just trust me on this one. Oh yeah, if you happen to be vegetarian or vegan this is the place for you, they have plenty of options. more
