Nice priced books 4/10/2006

This place is your typical small, untidy used book store. It has all sorts of random titles, and you're likely to find something really good everytime you're there. They also have used DVDs and videos for really good prices. You can even call the store before you head there to see if they have the title you're looking for. The store definitely lives up to its name. more

Decent selection 12/12/2005

Nice Price Books carries a decent variety of used books, cds, and records. The prices are more expensive than other used book shops in the area, so I normally check others first, but Nice Price has (as is the nature of the business) a different selection from other stores so it's a nice place to visit when you make your rounds of used book stores. The store is fairly well-organized, and not stuffed to the absolute brim - there's more room to browse. more

nice price 8/19/2005

I've found some great used books here--Nice Price has become one of the first spots I hit when I'm in the mood to browse the shelves. Many of the books look suspiciously like they're AWOL from the library (crackly covers and everything), but sometimes that's the best way to find recently released hardcovers. The CD selection is also good, but the DVD/Video selection is made up of slim pickins. more

Nice Price - decent used bookstore with some music 7/8/2005

Nice Price is a decent used bookstore that also stocks some music to entertain your ear. They’ll buy your books for cash or credit, but I’ve found that many of the other bookstores in the area will give you more for your stuff. They have quite an eclectic selection and the store is frequented by funky college students. If that’s your bag, than you’ll probably end up being a regular here. It does seem like they’ve got a collection of people who are there all the time. A plus side of their location is that they are very near a coffee shop so that you can fill your brain and your stomach at the same time. Parking can be a problem so be prepared to spend some time looking. If you're close, the best bet is walking. more
