I live near Books A Million and actually checked out their store before Borders. Funny enough, I was dismissed with a wave of the hand when they couldn’t find what I wanted with a computer search and sent here.
I love this Borders. The customer service is exceptional. As soon as I walked in I was offered help. When a computer search didn’t find what I was looking for the employee began thinking out loud about which sections we might explore. He just led the way and I found what I was looking for in the first section, yet he went on to one more just to see if there might be an even better match.

I really like living in the "cottages" simply because of the location. I can walk to cameron village, and am VERY close to NC State and downtown. Literally anywhere I want to go is pretty close, and my house is right of 40, so giving directions to people from out of town is very easy.
My only complaint is that the homes are very old, so they arn't very energy efficient...or at all energy efficient. They have natural gas heat, so my heating bills are insane.

Looking for a rental property? Try contacting Clark Properties. My wife and I have been renting for the past 7 years, and this company is by far the best we have come across. They have an updated website with information on available properties and they are extremely easy to work with. We found a rental townhome through their website last year and set everything up from our old home in Arizona. Nicole and the rest of the staff are friendly and very helpful. We're moving to Apex, NC in a few weeks and chose a house through Clark Properties again. We definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a rental property.

We had fabulous service w/ Preston Cudd from Wieland properties. They offer low fees and great service. We started w/ one of their well-known competitors and dropped them when we realized we were paying way too much (6%) for lousy service. Wieland's fee is only 3.9% and they offered the same services, but with better quality. We have already decided that when it is time to move again, we will be calling Preston!

I cannot say enough in praise of Sally Creech. She seems to have her finger on the pulse of the Triangle, and knows the area inside and out. She also is very personable and pays special attention to the needs of the buyer - she is not one of those agents who will keep presenting options to you that you have made clear are not of interest. She has experience working in a wide range of property types, from your average family home to high end estates.

A wonderful resourse when you are looking for somewhere new to live in the triangle!
