This place could be great, but prices are high, the service needs improvement and their hours are just odd. Frozen hamburger patties turned me off from the start, hot dogs are ok...

Murphy's Red Hots 8/10/2005

A local fixture, Murphy's is the best place in the area for hot dogs, corn dogs and other things of the sort. A great staff really enhances the experience of eating in this simple, kind of divey establishment, which provides a nice contrast to the eateries around the corner. The food is great, prepared fresh while you wait, and they have some of the best fries in the city. more
