My husband and I went here for our Anniversary and was not disappointed! The food was delicious! We went during the winter, but was able to sit out on their patio that is enclosed and heated with a fireplace. It is a quaint restaurant and we will absolutely be returning!

I've been here a few times to get checks cashed and money orders made. I actually do not like this branch very much because it is usually very busy and there are long lines. The workers are slow and take a long time to get the job done. Also, it is a major hassle to find parking here!

I was always curious about how to play bridge, but with no one around me that knew how to play, I decided to find a bridge club to learn to play. I loved this club although I felt a little bit out of my league in skill level and age group. Most of the members of this club are either retired or on the verge of retiring, so they were intrigued that a young lady was joining their club. The explained the game well and now I love playing with this club

We visited here and felt very good about it. The people were friendly and the big sanctuary doesn't make you feel like you're the only new person there. The music was beautiful and the sermon was very thought-provoking. Our kids felt welcome in the kids areas, and other people welcomed us and made us feel at home.

I love shopping at this quaint store. There prices are just as reasonable as the large chain stores. Their service is so nice and they have Kosher foods you cant find anywhere else in the city. They just expanded so the store is not at all cramped. plus you get the small store feeling. I forgot my credit card, they told me to come back later and get it. The owner gives my son a lollypop every time we go in there. And everyone knows you by name. (ok its cliche...but its true!!)

More
This great nonprofit organization has been around for over 30 years. Beginning in a small church on the U of C's campus, it was one of the first to sponsor free breakfasts for poor youths. Now at it's new digs on Woodlawn, it offers literacy and GED classes to adults who want to improve their reading and earn their GED. With day and evening classes, plus one-on-one tutoring, it's easy to accommodate any schedule. The Family Learning Class is especially great, with parents and children learning together. Also offers job interview training. A great way to change your life, either as an adult learner or a volunteer.

This church is getting a new pastor soon. However, they have had a ministry to the poor for years and it's really affecting people, if you have time to volunteer. They have a soup kitchen and overnight shelter once a week. They have hundreds of people in need who come and depend on the services provided, and it's really amazing to see it all come together.
