THE BEST PIZZA ANYWHERE! 6/11/2006

Let me start this review by saying I don't even really like pizza. This place is delicious!!!!!!!! You can order it by the slice and then have ANY topping added for only 25 cents each. If you eat here, you probably won't be able to eat pizza anywhere else again! All of the toppings are so fresh. They also have delicious salads that I highly recommend. For those of you looking for something a little different, they make pizza with cornmeal crust, if requested. It is a little too oily for me but most people love it! more

Editorial
  • Despite the bossa nova on the stereo and the lack of red-and-white checked tablecloths, this West Portal Avenue storefront feels like a neighborhood pizza place. The menu offers all the standards people come to expect from a pizza place: large pies, plenty of pasta dishes and big bowls of fresh salads. But buried deep inside the folding menu are Brazilian dishes--black beans with smoked meats, chicken and okra in saffron sauce and halibut topped with hard-boiled eggs--that can be ordered as entrees or as pizza toppings.
