Outer SE Portland is for gangbangers, truck drivers, trailer courts, and NASCAR fans...but is there a secret, hidden element of folks who crave the finer things in life?
Milo's seems to think so..and they seem to be right seeing as how they have survived a number of years now as the culture icon of outer SE.
Milos is a small cafe..it offers just a few tables, crisp, European coffees and teas, fine chocolates, pastries baked on-site, and quite music. Wait staff are polite, curteous, and respectful of patron's private conversations yet seem to know when a sole patron desires their input.
In short, Milo's staff knows their place...but they also seem to be very happy to be in it. Good thing, too...these staff could easily be hired out by any of the five-star joints in town...then what would outer SE do for their well-to-do cousins?
