Worst

There's nothing bad that can be said about the interior; mainly because the music is so damned loud that you can't tell your breakfast pals anything without yelling at them.

Best Restaurant in Portland! 8/17/2002

Milo's used to be my pick for best breakfast, but now that they're open for lunch and dinner, it is my choice for all around best restaurant in Portland. The menu offers a wide array of zippy culinary masterpieces, served by a personable, dedicated waitstaff. The value can't be beat! I don't know how they can keep the prices so low. Pros: cheap cheap cheap!, delicous entrees, friendly service Cons: no parking, long breakfast wait more

a rare jewel 8/2/2002

probably one of the best inexpensive breakfast values in Portland. The menu offers a great variety of breakfast foods not normally found in other restuarants. Pros: reasonable pricing, great assortment, friendly staff Cons: not a lot of parking, crowded on sunday's more

Sweat & Spicey... & the food's good too! 7/26/2002

Milo's is definatley a nieghborhood hangout 'where everyone knows your name' and if they dont yet, give em an hour. Very freindly staff and great food with some traditionl dishes, with a twist. The Crab Cake Bennidict will have you licking the plate! (and if you want tobassco on that, there are approx. 150 different kinds floating around the restaurant)I love their homemade soups for lunch and now that dinner has been added till 9pm, you have to try the Flambe'd Cheese appetizer and a Cosmopolitan that will knock your socks off, Fab! Any choice for dinner is going to be good, I am partial to Lorren's Pesto Salmon, served up by Maryanne and her ""spicey"" dollop of attitude! Pros: Food, Service, Price Cons: Wait for table more

Milo's milieu 7/18/2002

Sometimes I forget that Milo's is in Portland. By the time the meal is over and the bill has arrived, I'm ready to hand over New York dollars to pay for the experience I've just had. I'm usually startled by the small amount on the check. Makes me feel like Christian Bale in American Psycho picking up the lunch tab: ""$300? Huh, that's cheap."" Fortunately, a Milos tab is usually under $10. Beyond the great atmosphere, food and the usually great service (avoid the server with red hair sooo slooooow) is the consistency. Its incredible. Every time I go there, I get a great meal. The eggs benedict have a tremendous hollandaise sauce and the specials are usually exciting. An avocado omelet became an unlikely favorite for me. If youre in need of quantity, try the breakfast sandwich with eggs and pork. And the mimosas are great hangover busters. Pros: Atmosphere, Tasty food, Eggs Beney Cons: A bit loud, Long lines more
