Sometimes I forget that Milo's is in Portland. By the time the meal is over and the bill has arrived, I'm ready to hand over New York dollars to pay for the experience I've just had. I'm usually startled by the small amount on the check. Makes me feel like Christian Bale in American Psycho picking up the lunch tab: ""$300? Huh, that's cheap."" Fortunately, a Milos tab is usually under $10.
Beyond the great atmosphere, food and the usually great service (avoid the server with red hair sooo slooooow) is the consistency. Its incredible. Every time I go there, I get a great meal. The eggs benedict have a tremendous hollandaise sauce and the specials are usually exciting. An avocado omelet became an unlikely favorite for me. If youre in need of quantity, try the breakfast sandwich with eggs and pork. And the mimosas are great hangover busters.
Pros: Atmosphere, Tasty food, Eggs Beney
Cons: A bit loud, Long lines
