Synthetic Oil Change 1/3/2012

I recieved a $10 oil change certificates to redeem and needed an upgrade to synthetic oil. The extra cost was not any more than if I bought the synthetic oil myself, quite happy with that. Not a long wait either. Very friendly and my niece who was with me that day really enjoyed petting the dogs. I'll be back again. more

We were very pleased with the courteous service and knowledgeable staff. My only issue was that while on the phone I asked for what my total cost would be for tire installation. When I got there it was about $50 more than what I was quoted. Somehow my quote did not include tax and additional shop fees? Not cool. more

First time visit 12/31/2011

Upon investigating new tires for my Toyota Highlander, I was referred to Midas Richmond by a friend. My experience was honest,professional, courteous, and prompt. Not only were they able to get me in the same day, but it was the last Friday of the month as well. They also offered to drive me home verses waiting which has never been offered to me in the past. A nice touch of service not heard of now adays. I certainly will be using this business in 2012. more

Happy With Midas 12/17/2011

I have gone to Midas a few times for simple oil changes, but this last time, I had them fix a leaky oil pan. They've been great, seemed to do it at a reasonable price, and I feel like they treated me fairly. They also seemed to know more about my car than my previous service advisors. Given other comments about Midas (from other web postings), I'm still a bit skeptical, but so far my experiences have been very favorable. more

Service on our 1996 SAAB 12/12/2011

Thanks for the excellent work on the old SAAB. We just couldn't afford to buy our son a new car at this time so we needed to know that he is safe traveling back and forth from school. I have started to take all of my cars to Midas. Every time I go in I am always treated with respect and courtesy. Customer Service at it's finest. I am in sales and I realize how important customer service is, and when you are polite and honest that is all a customer can ask for. Mark and his staff are outstanding. Keep up the Great work. more

I called mid morning for a small but inconvenient problem with my car battery. They said bring it in anytime; brought it in about 1 PM and it was ready before closing time! Great service! more

I went to Midas because I heard on the radio that you could get a state inspeciton for a $10 donation to the Food Bank. How awesome is that? Plus, they were very accomodating and nice. I'll go back. more

Another Car Issue! 12/1/2011

A quick note regarding the responsiveness and professionalism of Midas Short Pump. With the weather changing my car had a tough time starting. Could it be an expensive starter or a battery? Luckily for me it was a battery. The diagnosis was quick, battery replaced and I was on my way! I know of another auto repair shop who would have pushed a more costly repair even though it wasn't needed. Thanks again Midas Short Pump for your continued help and a job well done!!! more
