I enjoy taking my children to visit Dr. Tilghman. He is a great pediatrician with a very kind bedside manner and never minds listening to a mom's fears. We always get to see him, never another doctor, and rarely wait more than ten minutes. His office is perfectly suited for little ones, with plenty of toys in the waiting rooms, both sick and well rooms. Dr. Tilghman has always come across as very knowledgeable, nonjudgemental and patient.

Dr. Wiley has been our pediatrician for 6 years and I don't have a single complaint with him -- he's been kind and friendly, attentive to our children and patient with my questions --
Our twins were in the hospital for 5 and 6 days (respectively) and he was there EVERY morning to check on them -- when we finally got them both home he had us bring them into his office on the next day so he could make sure I was ok with caring for such small babies on my own.
The two doctors that also work in his practice are also very helpful and kind so there's always someone there when you have an emergency!

The pharmacy puts so much emphasis on speed that they sacrifice courtesy, privacy, and professionalism. NO ONE there ever asked me if I had any questions about the seven different medications that I take and the names of several medications were shouted out for all to hear. While they were willing to reduce their price for the uninsured, they were inconsistent about following through with this program. I am disabled and was using their delivery service. When I was finally able to get out of bed and go through my receipts, I realized how they had charged me radically different prices. With great difficulty and pain, I managed to get into the pharmacy to discuss a refund, only to be treated with disdain. I was told repeatedly that it was all my fault and that it was too late (about 3 months) to do anything about most of it. I lost hundreds of dollars and many sleepless nights. I have since discovered that even non-members may use Costco's pharmacy service and the prices there are one-quarter of Westbury's best price. By the way, Costco's pharmacy employees are just as kind and professional as they can be!

When I was expecting twins and put on strict bedrest I was so worried about what to do to keep my babies safe -- My OB (who's wonderful too!) sent me to the best Perinatologist in the area who just happened to be right upstairs Dr. Christmas!
Between the two of them they worked out a plan of action and after some emergency surgery and a long stint on bedrest my two little girls arrived healthy and beautiful thanks to some very kind and attentive doctors.

I was sent to Dr. Prillaman when I didn't really know much about OBs -- and I'm so glad my regular doctor sent me to him!
He has 4 children of his own, including a set of twins, so he really knows what it means to love your babies before they're born -- he's patient and gentle and can keep you smiling even when you're nervous or uncomfortable --
When we got into trouble with my twin pregnancy Dr. Prillaman didn't assume he knew everything in the world about high risk pregnancies, instead he did the right thing and sent me to a specialist as well and between the two of them they saved my little girls. I'm so glad to have known a doctor like Dr. Prillaman, he's a wonderful doctor :)

Dr. Tate is a very good OB. She was very understanding with me during my first pregnancy. She encouraged my questions and always listened to my concerns. She honored my desires to wait it out without intervention. She has a nurse practitioner that works with her and every other visit you see Marcie. I would have rather seen the doctor each time but the office is busy. My deliver was difficult and she did a great job. She stayed dedicated to helping me deliver a healthy baby and fixing me up afterward. She also gave me great follow up care and even called to see how I was doing. I would highly recommend her.

I first saw Dr. Heyman as a new mom. I was not impressed with his patience or comments. I was a basket case and he did nothing to make me feel better. He did not help me with my feeding concerns, he only referred me to a nurse practitioner. Dr. Heyman is one of the younger doctors in this practice so he is easier to get appointments with, but I just avoid him now. I have heard he is very good with older kids and I'm sure I would not worry as much then either.

He really gets to know you and cares about your life -- it's been a lovely change after having so many primary care doctors to actually have someone remember you from one visit to the next, care about your family and kids, not just diagnose a small problem and send you on your way -- Dr. Krickovic makes me actually WANT to go to the doctor when I'm sick instead of trying to tough it out, because I know he cares!

Dr. Christian is what my son calls a mommy doctor. She is very kind and warm to the kids and seems very open to listen. She does not care for the kids in a rushed manner. We have been pleased will all the care we have gotten from her. The office can be a busy office and her schedules fills soon, but she is worth the wait (if your situation can wait.)
