I brought my car to Midas for an oil change and to rotate my tires. When the employee found some additional issues with my car, he called me to discuss what he found and his recommendations. All was handled professionally and quickly! more

Great service 10/31/2011

Had a state saftey check and oil change done at the short pump location. I arrive 20 minutes early for my appointment they took my car in right away and had my car done within an hour, with no problems. Good service and friendly people. more

The customer service was really good. Very socialable. The price was a bit much, they were actually more than Honda. Which is a big shock to me. B/c I went to Honda first and thoigh they were out of their mind... But over all they are quick w/ getting things done. more

New Shocks 10/28/2011

I stopped by on Friday afternoon for an oil change (free coupon!). I also had noticed a humming noise coming from the rear tires. The Midas Service Rep. said I had uneven wear on the left tire, caused by weak shock absorbers. He said that I could replace the tire to eliminate the humming sound, but pointed out that the tire was still safe. I had the shocks replaced, but kept the tire. They finished the repair very quickly. I very much appreciate their prompt service, and especially their honest assessment, as I am unemployed. Midas-Short Pump will continue to be my auto service center. more

Complete Service 10/28/2011

I went in for an oil change and the mechanics at the shop always are so good about checking all systems in the car, even though it was just and oil change. Mark let me know that the front brakes were very close to needing to be replaced and gave me the option of repair at the time. This shows me that they care about their work and my safety. more

Suspicious Estimate 10/28/2011

Jeep Grand Cherokee brakes crunching just before coming to complete stop. Requested estimate. Quoted: 4 new rotors, 2 front calipers, 2 front brake lines and new pads all the way around. Somewhat surprised the master cylinder wasn't included as well. Estimated cost: ~$1100. I bought and replaced all parts myself and problem persists. No value received for the $40 estimate fee. Was hoping to find a trustworthy and reliable shop. Not there. Will never go back. more

60K maintenance on Hyundai Elantra hatchback 10/27/2011

I was quoted a certain price and received it. Also, I had the rear breaks replaced and the transmission flushed, after 6 years of owning my car. My Midas mechanic did the job very well--my car drives like it hasn't in 6 years. The front desk person was polite and took care of my needs well. All in all, it was painless, although I'm glad the 60 K maintenance costs only happens once every 60K. more

The guys at Midas are great. They take good care of my cars, and have for years. They are also very active in the community with blood drives and food drives. I think more businesses should do that. more

Oil change/ check engine light problem 10/24/2011

I have always had great service at Midas. The owners and staff who communicate with me have been helpful and friendly and I will keep bringing my car there. My complaint about my last visit is that when I received my car back, the whole driver's side and front windshield were covered in mud, which wasn't there when I dropped it off. That has never happened before, and I am surprised a place that is normally very professional would overlook something like that. I am going to continue to bring my car there, though, because I am normally very happy with the service the Short Pump Midas provides. more
