Lube Pitstop

I went by the place last week to get an oil change and my tire pressure checked as I prepared for a trip. There was one person working - a very nice man. He told me that they were not open yet as the store was recently sold. He was in there cleaning up the place and counting inventory. When I told him what I needed, he said that they did not have their new systems set up and he was unable to provide an oil change service. He did stop what he was doing to check the air pressure in all of my tires. It was a nice experience. I will be back! Pros: Friendly & Knowledgible Cons: Not Open Yet more

I went to get an oil change, the manager and an employee worked on my car together.\r They were very verbal about not being able to find the oil filter.\r After they finished the job they couldn't get the car to start, they asked if my car usually starts, I said ""always"".\r They proceeded to go under the car with a wrench and hammer on my rear differential.\r One of them tried to start it while the other one hammered on it.\r Then they switched places, and were getting frustrated because it wouldn't start.\r I was there with another lady watching it happen, then they looked under the hood, and laughed about\r the fact that somehow they had disconnected my spark plug.\r How in the heck do you disconnect a spark plug when you're supposed to be under the vehicle changing \r the oil. This is very questionable practice.\r I called two days later to speak to the owner, and the manager was extremely rude, and lauged at me.\r He refused to give me the owners contact infomation or even a name, he stated that I must be calling\r to make a complaint or I wouldn't be calling, and implied that it's in his best interest to not let me speak\r with the owner. Stay far away from this place, I don't understand how they still have permits to operate.\r If it was possible to submit this review with now stars, I would have submitted it with zero stars. more

The guys at this location quoted me a specific price to replace the O2 sensor on my car and told me they would have it ready for me by the time I picked my car back up after work (I dropped it off at noon). When I picked the car up, not only was it not ready but they tried to charge me an additional $60.00 for the O2 sensor they installed. When I said that wasn't the price the quoted me and I shouldn't have to pay it, the guy told me that he would talk to his manager, explain the problem (I was told that they entered the wrong model year for my car when giving me the original quote) and that they would write off the cost. When he came back, I paid the agreed upon amount but when I asked for my receipt, I was told that the manager refused to back off the additional charge and that I would have to pay the additional $60.00 if I wanted the receipt. The guy at the shop said he had to pay it out of pocket so I wasn't getting the receipt unless I paid him. \r \r I was floored because for a $60.00 difference, first they should have called me to let me know, second of all, I should have been provided a receipt for the services they provided which included getting my annual car inspection. I would not recommend that anyone go to this location and seriously question the ethics of the employees working at this site. You get what you pay for. These guys are reliable and quick, with my car's best interest at heart. No high pressure sales like other oil change places I've been to. more
