MY WIFE HAD A FLAT TIRE. I TOOK IT TO LAMB'S AND THEY FIXED HER TIRE WITHIN MINUTES. THANKS TO BRANDON AND JAKE. THEY TOOK CARE OF THE PROBLEM RIGHT AWAY. LATER I TOOK IT IN TO GET AN ESTIMATE ON NEW TIRES. THE GUYS AT THE FRONT COUNTER ARE SO GREAT AND PROFESSIONAL. JULIAN, BRANDON AND JAKE. THEY REALLY GAVE ME A GREAT DEAL ON A NEW SET OF TIRES. JAKE THE MANAGER AND BRANDON REALLY GOT ME THE BEST DEAL. I REALLY APPRECIATED IT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICE TO ANYONE. BEATS THE BIG GUYS ON BENWHITE. THANKS CHUCK L. more

I went to Lamb's on Slaughter and was charged eleven hundred dollars to get some stuff fixed. My boyfriend went there 2 weeks later. Guess what they quoted him? eleven hundred dollars. They said it had to be fixed right away or doom doom doom! He never got it fixed. Car is fine. A friend of mine took her car there cause the transmission was acting funny. They told her she needed a new tranny and quoted five thousand dollars! She took it somewhere else -- all it needed was new transmission fluid. Fifteen dollars. What a bunch of a**holes. more

These are my go-to guys. They're fair and honest. If I know what the problem is, they don't charge for unnecessary diagnostics. If I don't know, they find it and fix it right the first time. I can't stand mechanics who seem to get their training on my dime, and that's never been an issue with Lamb's (at least this location, the only one I've been to). more

Lamb's really took care of me. I just had a really bad experience with another shop in the area, but I went here and everything was perfect from price to wait time to actual friendly interaction by staff more

I recently had a flat tire and came into Lamb's to get it fixed. I was in a panic, late for my kid's school function and the place was very busy. I was about to walk out the door because I thought the wait would be too long, until a very nice employee helped me and my car had a new tire in no time. I was very suprised with how quick and pleasant they were. I made it to the school with no problem thanks to Lamb's. more

I took in my old Ford mustang (not classic old, but 8 years old). They were having problems getting all the parts to fix the car. However, the manager went above and beyond by not only offering to give me a ride to ?anywhere? but Dallas but took the time to walk me through what was happening. By keeping me in the loop, beating the price that a competitor quoted me, and doing a quality repair (the Stang runs great now) I highly recommend Lamb?s on Slaughter. more

Each time I brought my car for service both your Service Advisors and Technicians gave me excellent service at a fair price. These guys are great! Your service advisor even called me this morning to ask me if my car was running fine. That?s a first. Even when I was driving new cars the dealer did not call me to see if everything was O.K. I guess they (the dealers) figured they got my money and that?s all they wanted! But your guys are a cut above? Keep up the good work. I will definitely recommend you to my friends and business associates. more

I use the Bee Cave location often- They are always very helpful. I have all my oil changes done there, and all my and my wife's tire work. I have used them two times to rescue us for a flat tire. They have been nothing but great. more

Instead of getting "worked with," like the guy told me, I got worked. I took my truck in for diagnostic, which was supposed to be charged, but they "graciously" waived it (See other posts on their diagnostic test). After an entire weekend of looking at it, they quoted me $1600. I couldn't even tell anything was wrong. Either way, I told them they could work with my $400 budget by picking the most crucial repair. They couldn't do it. When I come in to pick up my truck, the ignition doesn't work. I can't turn my truck on!!! They looked at me like I had set them up and asked me half a dozed times, "Are you SURE its never done that before?" Duh! How was I supposed to have gotten my truck here in the first place!!! Oh and what a coincidence, the ignition repair that never showed up until it was under their care cost me, surprise surprise, $400! I got had. And to make matters worse, the guy still tried to sell me tires when I was signing the receipt. I will not be returning to Lamb's. Nightm more

I took my car there for an emissions inspection. They failed the car and told me both oxygen sensors and the cat. converter needed to be replaced, at over one thousand dollars. Feeling like I was being scammed I took it to another place for a second opinion. Surprise, surprise, I only needed one oxygen sensor replaced, and that's it. I only paid about $300 for that. When I took it back to Lamb's so they could retest and pass my car, they seemed very annoyed that I had it repaired elsewhere. I wonder why? They did finally pass my car's inspection, but I have never been back as these people are not to be trusted. Period. more

i took my 97 ford truck i just brakes and they said i needed $600.00 of brake work. i wanted someone else to look at it so i took it to lambs tire and auto in Pflugerville. after a quick 30 min check they said i only need my front pads replaced. $175.91 \r thanks to all the guys there. customer for life\r \r Robert more

I took my car in because the brakes were soft. The Asst. Manager, Ron, called me later that day to tell me that my entire brakes system was out. He said he had never in his life seen something so wrong with brakes, but that it could be fixed for $2300! He also said this was WITH the ""family discount"" that he would give his grandmother. He advised me not to take it anywhere else because the brakes were so bad that I could basically die trying to get there. WELL...I took it to the place I bought it from, and was charged $200! I am horrified that someplace could use my ignorance about cars and fear of dying to try to con me out of $2300. more

About a month after spending $1700 on my car at Lamb's, I took a friend in there, openly telling her how great they are, etc. They looked at her car and told her she needed a whole new transmission and quoted almost $5000. She took the car home and had someone else look at it.... more

Went in this morning for an oil change and was told it would take 45 -60 minutes. Two hours and 40 minutes later my car was finally ready. Reasons for delay - ""I didn't tell you it would take that long and I can't be responsible for what someone else told you,"" and ""we had an unexpected insurance meeting."" more

It has been 3 days since THE INCIDENT and i'm finding more and more people have had horrible experiences with Lamb's. One friend took his car in because it was shaking and Lamb's quoted him $3000 for a new transmission. Not being a mechanic but actually having a brain he told Lamb's to put the car back together so he could have it towed to someone else. Lamb's who supposedly has a FREE estimate program tried to charge him $65 to put everything back in place!! The guy actually tried to GUILT him into paying by saying his mechanic wouldn't get paid if he didn't pay (amazing!!!!!). Turns out the next place charged him $150 to replace a joint of some sort (UV?)....Nothing to do with a transmission. Pros: Clean bathroom Cons: I've seen other people buying tires there! more

DONT AGREE TO PAY THIS FEE ,IT IS A RIP OFF.IF THEY TELL YOU THAT THEY WILL WAIVE THE 89.00 MAKE SURE IT IS IN WRITING BEFORE ANY WORK IS INVOVLED. DO NOT ACCEPT ANY VERBAL AGREEMENTS, ALWAYS HAVE A WITNESS.THE INTEGITY OF THIS BUSINESS IS VERY QUESTIONABLE.TAKE CARE OF YOUR VECHILE BY NOT TAKEING IT TO LAMBS TIRE AND AUTOMOTIVE.
