This barber college is a great place if you need a quick trim or haircut and are not real picky about your hair. The barbers are all students and are in the learning process and they've used my head a time or two (hey, they have to practice on someone!) The instructors are standing by so give a new guy (or girl) a chance. Very cheap price (under $5) and it may just spawn a new 'Hair Piccaso'.

Okay, if my hubby kicked me out, I could literally live here and be happy. I don't know how happy the owners would be though. This place is like disneyland for bakers. It has every possible baking "toy" that a baker could want. You could spend days just looking at all of this stuff. The staff is always very helpful and answer yours questions. Though it is a bit pricey, this is the place to go if you want your stuff to look good. there's very few places that provide a one-stop shop for bakers.

I've been in Star a few times and the service is always great. I go in for the cheaper student massages when I'm really wound too tight and although they're in the learning process, it's amazing how, like the professional massage therapists they are. They're cheaper (about 1/2 the cost ) for a student and you're getting relaxed and helping them in the process. The place is a learning environment and it's really a relaxing experience.

You have to be able to go during their limited hours and wait for someone to be available, so in that way it is not like a salon. Also, the room is crowded and noisy and very bare-bones, so in that way it is not like a salon. But after you've spent a lot of time and only a little money, you will have gotten the exact services that you can get at a salon, and you will look like you went to a salon. I got a haircut, then had my hair dyed black with bleached-out streaks that were then dyed bright pink. It took about 3 hours but it only cost about $50.

I took my computer in to be repaired. I was told it had the worst cases of virus’ they had ever seen with the computer still operational. They went above and beyond to repair my computer and then did not really charge me what they could have for the hours involved in the repair. I was very satisfied with the service and professionalism the technicians show their customers.
