My car has been into this location twice. Once was for a brake flush, the second was to replace my CV joints. Ever since the flush my back brakes have been creaking, the sound of metal on metal anytime I stop. As for the CV joints.. what a nightmare. I called on a Tuesday to see if they could take my car the following day, and they said yes and gave me a quote. I brought it in the following morning, and they promised to have it ready by 5pm, and that they would call when it was done. At 5 I hadn't heard from them, so I called - they said they couldn't find the parts, so they'd have it done by tomorrow. Fine. The next day at 3pm I hadn't heard anything, so I called. Same old thing - no parts available from any of their suppliers, but my car was taken apart so I couldn't pick it up. I agreed to let them keep it another day. This went on for THREE MORE DAYS. I questioned why that when I called in that Tuesday to check if they could take me, they didn't check AVAILABILITY on parts when they told me that yes, they could. Secondly, CV joints for a Hyundai are NOT difficult to find. In the end they had to call in their guy who rebuilds the CVs, instead of replacing them. I asked if this held the same warranty as replacing them, and if the quality and price would be the same. He said yes. I agreed to do it. When I finally picked the car up, I found out he had lied about the warranty. it was HALF of what the other warranty would have been, AND they charged me more and wouldn't back down. I coughed up the money and left. I immediately noticed a metallic scraping sound on my right side, and an awful burning smell coming from under the car. I brought it back in and they said nothing was wrong. it's still not been fixed and they maintain that they have nothing to do with it. I also later found out that ""rebuilding the cv joints"" is simply replacing the boot and packing it with grease. I could have done that myself for $30. I spent $400, and my CV joints were never even replaced.
