At first I didn't know what to do with my hair but when i came she handle everything with care. Now when i walked outside i am not a nobody but now i am a somebody whose life has changed from the moment i walked in Helene's Salon. Thank you Helene. I do not know what i would do without you. Worth a visit 12/28/2004

Our family moved to SF from another state and needed to find a new stylist. I found Helene highly recommended on CitySearch, and sent my husband to give her a try. She replicated his haircut perfectly. Since then she's been the only one to cut my toddler's hair (so patient!) and cuts and highlights my hair. The cut is great and the highlights are as I requested; natural looking. It's a family affair every time we go visit Helene. Relaxing atmosphere. Flexible scheduling. bridal party 10/5/2004

I recently got married and Helene did my hair , my 2 attendants, and both mom's. She went out of her way to make her salon feel like her home. We had brought refreshments and she provided us with all the amenities. All of our hair looked beautiful and even withstood the Marin Headlands. She was able to just meet everyone that morning, and found hairstyles apporpriate to fit their personality. Anytiime I am at Helene's I always fell pampered , she provides one-one onse service, not just on wedding days, but eveyday. The most important thing is she always is on time!!! I have the hardest hair to cut 8/3/2004

I have so many calics it is hard to cut my hair Helene gave me a haircut is one that everyone finely complementmented She took her time she cut it dry washed it let it airdry a bit then cut some more. She said if the cut was not working just to call and she would adjust it. She educating me with out pushing products. I bought the full Redken Men's line. Extreme Makeover was fab! 3/19/2004

I went in for a makeover. We talked for awhile I have never had a hairdresser/make-up artist spend that much time telling me why what she suggested was best for me. I came in a bit nervous being my first time with Helene but I know I have found someone I will never leave. I had my hair colored and cut and a step-by step make-up class. I bought everything. I love the Helene Rene skin care and make-up line. The cost was so reasonable. She uses Redken, I bought the complete line for my hair Great too. Great atmosphere. Great munchies and wine too. wonderful experience 12/3/2003

I learned what looks best on me and why. Helene does not start working until she listens to you. Very knowledgeable haircutter, colorist and make-up artist. I learned which products and why yet I ever felt like she was pushing product. I went after work I liked that she served refreshments and I could feel like I was at home. I went in for a makeover wow I can style my hair for the first time myself. I learned how to do my make-up 10 minutes and I am doing it. Great atmoshere Helene is patient, listens followed my requests Reasonable prices Did not push products and I bought them all including her book. I even had fun with all of the people who were there. Call Helene she also does fabulous up dos. She is open at odd hours apparently she hates saying no to people who call to make an appointment. Great Class Great Salon 9/16/2003

I attended her class through The Learning Annex. iT was a makeover class. She is a great teacher. I decided to go for a makeover. Helene is genuine. she tells you like it is. She does a natural make-up. This is the first time I went home and could do my hair the next day and it looked like the way she did it. i'LL NEVER GO TO A BARBEr OR CHEAP CUTTER AGAIN! It seemed odd having someone analyzing my face and telling me what style looked best and why but now I know the difference between a barber or cheap cut and Helene. She even showed me a trick as to how to get my sideburns straight. The price is not high for the attention, consultation, cut wine and popcorn. Perfectionist and Patient 7/14/2003

I have been to a lot of colorist and cutters. I have colored my hair for many years. Helene uses the latest coloring techniques. Keeps my hair in great condition and the latest looks. She teaches me how to do it at home. I ask her to book off time for a little make-up, she does and doesn't charge me. I drive Helene crazy I am sure and always walk out with a smile. I bring in pictures I tell Helene what I want. she listens, she explains all the pros and cons we work out the perfect result She does up to date hair cuts. She throws in make-up tips and hair tips. She is always interested in pleasing me and watching out for my pocketbook.My hair has never felt and looked better. Her skin care and make-up is fab!
