Consistently great service 10/11/2010

I've been taking my Honda Accord to Acura of Portland for service for close to 5 years, and have always been very happy with their service. Not only does my car run without problems between servicing, the service staff is pleasant, courteous and professional. It's not only the regular service that I give high marks to. For example, several months ago, I noticed that one of the lug nuts on one of my wheels was gone. I called Acura, and Jason had me bring the car in right then and there, and he put the lug nut on at no charge. That's the way customers should be treated. It's nice to find a business that stands behind its products and service, and that has excellent customer service. I wouldn't take my Accord to any other shop. more

Excellent service plus a nice waiting room. 9/10/2010

I had recent service with Acura of Portland(Dick Hannah). they gave me a tire rotaion and oil change. They offered to have me stay or give me a ride home and pick me up later. I opted to stay and talked with antoher acura owner while they did my service. They have a great waiting area with current magazines,TV, plus bottled water. The car has been running perfect and at 130K it has antoher 130K in it if I keep getting such awesom service. Thanks Acura team and Justin one of the service managers. more

I came in around 9:30 this morning to look at a 2007 Nissan 350Z you had in inventory. Upon arrival I was greeted by Strerling inside the showroom. He asked what I had in mind so I told him about the 350z. He quickly got the key for me and we had a good test drive. I was new to the area so Sterling showed me the best route to take. After the drive I had some technical questions about the car that he was able to answer easily because of his knowledge about Nissan/Infinity 350Z and G35 cars. As we did the numbers, he made me feel very comfortable and relaxed throughout the process. It was refreshing to see someone who didn't pressure me at all and gave me as much time as I needed to think. We ran the numbers and he closed the deal in not much time. After the deal, he went above and beyond his job by taking me to my bank so I could withdraw a check to pay for the car. And even beyond that, he helped me drop my new car home. \r \r I have never experienced such great service and a friendly attitude from any car salesman ever. Excellent Service 8/15/2010

This is a review for my most recent service appointment and a summary for past service as well. These guys are always friendly and courteous, especially Glenn and Sam. Car is always ready on or before promised time and we are always contacted first if additional service might be required beyond initial write-up. We have purchased 7 vehicles from this dealer and have had all scheduled maintenance performed at their shop without a problem. more

I LOVE MY ACURA RL 6/3/2010

I was not prepared or interested in purchasing another vehicle. My previous Acura CL had served me well for 10 years and was just under 195,000 miles. I just prayed that it would continue to serve me. However, I started having problems last year. Then the transmission failed and had to consider another purchase.\r The very first car I looked at was the 2005 RL. I felt that I couldn’t possibly afford the car so I asked to see others. I kept coming back to the RL. Needless to say, I now own that vehicle and it was the best purchase that I could have made. I LOVE MY ACURA RL!!!!!!! What a blessing. Nice Dealership, Cool, Knowledgeable Staff 5/24/2010

I've been coming here since the Dick Hannah location on NE Broadway closed a few years ago. I've never had a single complaint. They are always able to get me in on the weekends, the place looks great, and the people are all friendly and professional. Even when I tell them that they don't need to vacuum my car after they service it, they do it anyway - just to spite me! ;) More importantly, I feel really good about the work they do on my car. Considering what an important investment a car is, it's good to know that I'm treating mine right when I bring it to Acura of Portland. Pros: Thorough, honest, convenient. more

Terrific Service at Service Dept 5/20/2010

My Acura's (from the 90's) back power window would not roll up. Instead of paying for an expensive motor the service team simply rolled it up for me and disconnected everything so that no one would be able to roll the window down, and it get stuck again. They did not push the expensive part of me and agreed they would do the same thing in my situation. \r When I got my car back a day later they had gone the extra mile and cleaned up my car very nicely. A large scratch above my tired had been removed. I still ended up paying a fair amount but it was 1/3 of what I was going to have to pay for a new window motor.\r They also started a rewards card for me that is basically like a gift card for the next time I go to Acura of Portland. We've owned our Dodge for a couple years now, and we've been bringing it here for service as part of the Customers for Life program. Always happy with the service we receive, never issues with repairs. If something is going to take longer than quoted, they are happy to get a rental on the way for you, and they make all transactions very fast and stress free. They give you options for repairs, and don't sweat you to get everything done at once. Thanks to the entire service team! Sandy Silva who takes care of the online sales did a fabulous job for me. I was very nervous doing this without my husband who generally takes the lead when we look for cars. I told her upfront my needs and she made the entire process comfortable. I walked away from this experience feeling good about the process and the entire team at Acura of Portland. In almost 5 years of owning my MDX I continue to be impressed with the service department at Acura of Portland. It is always pleasant and complete. I moved away from Ford initially because of the lousy service department. It can make a difference in your car buying process. All cars need service. That experience influences how you feel about the brand. After this I can't see moving away from Acura. more
