I have bought cars in the past in which the experiences were awful. Lawrence Clapper in the internet department, gave me the best transaction I have ever had. He gave me a very fair price for my trade in and I was able to get a reasonable price on the 2009 Forester. I would definitely recommend this dealer and suggest that you ask for Lawrence

This is the second time I've purchased a pre-owned car from this dealership. Both times were positive, but this last time was truly remarkable. As a non-car person, I dreaded the process of researching cars and then. But again, The process at Ron Tonkin Acura was simple, clear and collaborative: I shared my needs and price range with my salesperson, Will Gilliland, and he showed me quality cars in that range. It felt to me as though Will actually wanted to help me get a car that would work for me (NOT just make a sale)
I felt respected the entire way through the process (even when they saw my VERY old and VERY worn 1990 trade-in) and I feel confident they will be there to help should I have questions or experience problems. No pressure, no "car sales game", no obnoxiousness.
Certainly, Will Gilliland was a major part of my positive experience. However, its clear he is backed up by a company that values and supports this kind of honest and simple interaction.
I plan to keep this car for a very long time (like I did the last one), but when I need another, I will absolutely be back to Ron Tonkin Acura.
Pros: professional, no-pressure, honest, fair.

Can't speak for anyone else, but I have purchased three Jetta's in the last eight years with all service performed by Rey Reece, and have always received excellent treatment. Terri has always been my service contact and she has never been anything but cordial and accomodating. She has always gone out of her way to find the best deal, lowest cost (special offers, promos, etc.), and on numerous occassions has stated "you're fine, you don't need that yet" when I have suggested a maintenance item. Having owned three VW's in a row I have spent a fair bit of time at the service center desk (routine stuff) and have never, repeat, never overheard any type of rude or condescending language from any service person. I should also note that this owner is reeeeally picky, and I would bolt in a heartbeat if I was not given the service I expected.

We were impressed by this dealership when we went to buy our Sienna van. We knew what we were looking for and how much we were prepared to pay and the staff didn't give us any high price sales pitch, just the bottom line of the deal they could make us. I brought my car to Bradshaw's last month and was extremely satisfied with the quality of their work as well as their reasonable prices. It was my first visit to Bradshaw's, but it will definitely not be my last. Based on my experience, I offer them my highest recommendation.

I called 5 minutes to closing time because my car had quit working.
Not only did they stay after hours to talk to me about my issues, they scheduled a tow truck to come get my car and bring it to their shop. They took all my information over the phone, so I did not even need to come in with my car. They have an after hours service drop off that makes it so convenient!!!! They called me the next morning with the diagnosis and my car would be ready by 3pm! They even said if I did not have a ride to pick up my car that they could find someone to come pick me up! I did not need that, as I just had my co-worker drop me off after work, but it was still nice that they offered. I would recommend this dealership's service department to anyone who is driving a Saab! They absolutely go over & beyond to make sure you are a satisfied customer!
Pros: Treat you as they would want to be treated!

We purchased our red Mini from Rasmussen Mini 2 years ago. We love it and the amazing service we have received from Rasmussen. When we take the car in to be serviced, we are given refreshments, offers of rides to and from wherever we would like to go, and complimentary MAX Tickets. We can catch the MAX right across the street and spend our time exploring Portland. When we return, we find the Mini spruced up inside and out...a care wash with every visit. We would never replace our little red Mini, but would someday love to add another...perhaps the Mini Wagon from Rasmussen Mini...to the fleet!

"I have never written an online review before; however, I am compelled to write one following my amazing experience at VIP. I never thought it was possible to actually enjoy a car repair experience. The customer service was so great, it was almost surreal.
I just now opened my mail and found a thank you note from Laya, the gal who works at the front desk there. What??? She is thanking me? I should be sending her a thank you and maybe a gift card or a tip or flowers or something, because she saved me about 300 dollars, not to mention days without my car. Without me even asking, she took the time to call local wrecking yards to find matching parts for my beat-up Honda Civic (which is no longer beat-up, thanks to VIP).
She could have easily sold me the more expensive after-market parts and I would've never known. Laya laid out all of my options and all of the prices and then got the parts in (from a wrecking yard) the same exact day. I've been told this is a tough task with Honda Civics...so hats off to Laya for finding parts so quickly.
Once the parts (a side mirror and bumper) were in, she had her guys in the shop finish the car within a couple hours. I thought I'd have to rent a car or hitch a ride while my car was being fixed...but no, not at VIP. They are lightning fast and I think Laya at the front desk is the reason for that. She gets it done. "

I have been going to this place for years now and never once have they done anything that wasn't more than sadisfactiory. If I don't have a way to get home, they will even give me a ride home. The staff is great and friendly and this place is truly five stars.
