I honestly love Diamonds Chicago. One year ago I went in and had an engagement ring custom made, and this summer I proposed to my now fiance with it and she loves it! I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out and the experience I had. They crafted the ring beautifully and helped me to get a spectacular diamond for a great price. My first appointment they spent hours with us just showing us an array of diamonds and different options. This is seriously the place to go for a custom ring. more

To say I love my engagement ring is an understatement. Carlee Kelly helped us through the process from start to finish. She was extremely knowledgeable and helped us feel incredibly confident about our ultimate purchase. She found us an absolutely amazing stone while still being conscious of the budget we initially gave her.\r \r Designing the ring began with a predetermined look, feel, and design from us. Carlee worked with the sizing and proportions of surrounding stones with the end result of a ring more gorgeous than even I had imagined.\r \r Carlee and Fahmina have also helped both of us choose wedding bands. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. I walked in there with a $500 gift certificate, fully intending on spending that, plus more. When I walked in, they had 2 items picked out for me that I could choose from, which I didn't want either of them. I was then told I could pick a ""skinny band"" ring, or one of the ugly necklaces. I was never offered to look around the store. When I asked about diamonds, I was shown ones smaller than a pinhead. For $500, I now am the owner of necklaces that look like ""costume"" jewelry (this coming from everyone I have shown so far). Go somewhere else! more

I would highly recommend Diamonds Chicago to anyone! I went there to pick out my fiance's engagement ring and I worked with Carlee who was amazing! She provided me with a lot of knowledge and information regarding choosing a ring, and a plethora of settings/stones/etc. to help me make the right decision. They were also fabulous with re-sizing my fiance's ring - the entire staff has been great to work with and we will be going back to get our wedding bands from here. If your in the market for diamonds, you must check this place out! more

A friend at work wanted to go to a jewelry store to look for a new diamond necklace. I told her that we should go over to Jewelers Row and go to the second floor to look at neclaces. (This is Diamonds Chicago and where my engagement ring was purchased years ago.) Carlee explained how to choose a diamond and my friend was so impressed she didn't buy a new necklace but instead had her engagement ring reset and added 4 more diamonds to the ring. She ordered it that day on our lunch break and by the time we were finished with work, the ring was finished and we headed back over there with another friend to pick it up. It was gorgeous. It was so beautiful, that the other girl we were with also bought a new diamond wedding band. Carlee really knows her diamonds and has such a creative imaginiation when designing jewelry. I know I will bring all my friends to Diamonds Chicago when looking for a special piece of jewelry.\r more

I heard about Diamonds Chicago from my brother who had a great experience with them so I thought I would set up an appointment. I was shopping for an engagement ring. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was able to look at a variety of loose diamonds while they thought me about the characteristics of them. I decided to have them customize a ring for me. This process could have been a pain, but the staff worked with me to make a ring exactly how I wanted it. The final product looks amazing, my fiance loves the ring and always tells me how many compliments she gets on it. more
