I had searched the Chicago area for months looking for a engagement ring. My search ended when i met Fahmina at Diamonds Chicago. She did a awesome job working with me to find the perfect diamond that blew everyone's prices away. You will be hard pressed to find a equal quality diamond for the prices they offer. Of course i decided to have a ring custom made after the diamond experience. I used a design of a reputable high end jeweler. After catering to my constant refinements I can say without a doubt that the end product far exceeded the original jewelers quality. The attention to detail was excellent. Diamonds Chicago has a customer for life! more

We had been shopping diamond engagement rings for a few months at various places prior to making an appointment here. Having searched for so long we had a good idea of what we wanted, just had to find the right diamond, a trustworthy retailer and a sales staff that would understand what we wanted and make it happen! Diamonds Chicago was by far the WORST experience we had! First of all I felt like I was at a pawn shop-disgusting office! Carlee was very aggressive, pushy and wouldn't listen. She approached sales with the idea that we are making all the wrong choices and she will show us the right choice, of course that right choice is something only she can provide. I had given Carlee specifics of what we wanted to see prior to the appointment and at our meeting she had a small selection of cheap, low quality, poorly cut diamonds to show us. She also spent most of our time assisting her coworkers with whatever they were doing and trying to hard sell us a setting from the glass case, insisting that platinum is a bad choice for various reasons and to buy a 14k white gold setting from her. When we voiced our disappointment with our experience, she simply stated that she doesn't prepare much for the first visit in case we don't show. excuse me??!!! Clearly her time is more valuable than ours and she didn't have time to waste on us! We ended up at Windy City Diamonds and are extremely happy with the service and selection! :) What a difference!! more

When my fiance went looking for engagement rings, he felt that the staff at Diamonds Chicago really took the time to educate him about diamonds. They worked with him to pick out the perfect setting at a very fair price. Months later, our English bulldog puppy decided to use my ring as a chew toy. It was badly damaged but Diamonds Chicago did a great job repairing it. When we returned to purchase our wedding bands, Carly suggested some adjustments to make my engagement ring a bit more durable. The adjustments were made while we waited. When the ring came back, it was unfortunately off center and it was sized incorrectly. Carly couldn't have been nicer about it. She offered to replace the ring for us. We really appreciated the way they handled the problem. They're really a great group of people to work with and we look forward to doing more business with Diamonds Chicago in the future! more

I was looking for a halo style engagement ring for my girlfriend. I was able to custom make the perfect ring I wanted. Fahmina did a great job making me feel comfortable the entire time. I looked through almost 80 different diamonds and finally found the one I knew would make her happy. I am very glad I went to Diamonds Chicago! My overall experience was great! I would refer all my friends and family to go there. I plan on going there in the future for my fiancé’s birthday's and our anniversary’s!\r more

I was not for sure which style I wanted, but they were great at finding what they thought I would like and what would fit our budget. Ray did a fabulous job teaching us about the 5C's and now we feel like we could walk into any jewelry store and be able to pick out a nice diamond. Miss Carlie did a great job helping Ray find us our perfect aster diamond. She also knew what setting I would love and what looked great with the diamond that we picked out. She was extremely patient in walking us through all the paperwork for our payment plan and in getting the ring appraised and insured before we met the office, just to make sure we had absolutely nothing to worry about once we left. She even had the rings I was wearing cleaned for free while we were waiting for the diamond to be placed in the setting I chose. Fahmina made our entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. She helped us save over $1000 from the estimated price we were given at Zales, which made a huge difference as we're both students and don't have much money. The ring looked absolutely gorgeous and we definitely plan on going back for our wedding bands! What can I say about Diamonds Chicago? This is a wonderful place to buy that engagement ring or wedding bands! I made my first purchase with Diamonds Chicago last year when I bought my fiancee's engagement ring. Fahmina was great in helping me find the perfect diamond. She is very knowledgeable and was very easy to work with. I didn't really know what I was doing and she was very helpful with determining which diamond and setting to purchase. My fiancee and I recently went back to purchase our wedding bands. We made an appointment to go in on a Saturday (I'd suggest doing so as it gets pretty busy on Saturdays) and worked with Karen and Alice. Karen was very helpful with showing us tons of bands. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. They make you feel comfortable and at home. Not to mention, the price we got on our bands was simply amazing. Can't beat it! I now consider Diamonds Chicago my ""jeweler"" of choice and we will continue to do business with them in the future. more
