Gregg was superb in customer service. That's the really what this comes down to. Yes, Nick was nice up front (and great with communication). Yes, Gregg's brother made and maintains a great website. But, what made me enjoy my engagement ring search the most was having a jeweler that listened to me, created a beautiful ring, and followed up in all areas of the transaction. Gregg wanted to meet my fiance after she got the ring, ensure size, and clear up any loose ends, though there weren't any. I'd recommend Mr. Helfer to anyone, hands down the best decision I've made in a long time.

Wedding Bands & Co. was the best choice we could have made in selecting a jeweler for our wedding ring and bands. Koorosh and staff took the time to listen to our unique needs and interests to design a custom ring around those ideals.
With the gift of her grandmother's wedding diamond, Koorosh walked us through step by step through the process, providing us with fantastic CAD drawings of the ring design. The level of detail included in the design, coupled with the flexibility to further tailor the rings around minor enhancements, allowed us to have a complete understanding of the final product before design began.
The staff worked dilligently with a tight timeframe to deliver us with our rings well in advance of the big day. Having that piece of mind, coupled with "the most beautiful rings we have ever seen" made our special day all the more special.

After all my Wabash shopping and internet research these guys have no competition. Shari provides really good unbiased perspective. Shari found strong performing diamonds for our examination. She spent the time we needed to understand what we were buying. No pressure. She has a great sense of humor. Fun to work with. The ring design experience was exciting. Shari engages you in the design process. She explores different geometries to feature the diamond. Shari takes design to a different level. Her designs are unique. Shari is unique. I took my engagement ring and wedding band into Steve Quick Jeweler's to have it updated and redone. I was amazed by the level of service, Dana was exceptional in explaining different options and price points. By the time I left my ring with them I felt completely comfortable with my decision. They definitely under promise and over deliver - my ring was done earlier than had expected and was absolutely AMAZING. All of this at a very affordable price.
I would highly recommend Steve Quick Jeweler's!!

I went to a bunch of different retailers such as Rogers & Hollands, Helzberg and felt completely uncomfortable. I was not going to be forced into a purchase of an overpriced diamond. After those painful visits I decided to hop online to yelp and other sites to see what people thought about different shops. Turned out to be an excellent idea, and that's why I'm posting up here as well.
Wally is great at Chicago Diamond Experts. He met with me multiple times, even though I stayed late and made him late to some of his other plans. He gave me the education on diamonds and showed me all of the options within my price range. Ended up with a beautiful ring that I wanted and my fiance couldn't be happier. If you were like me, a young guy in his twenties and don't know where to start, give Wally a call and stop by. You won't be disappointed that you did.

Went here to shop for stones for an engagement ring. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Carlee, Heather and Fahmina were outstanding and went out of their way repeatedly to help educate me on the process as well as to ensure that I was happy with the ring and the stones we'd selected.
Would recommend to anyone who is in the market for diamonds - they do great work!

My fiance designed my engagement ring at Ethan Lord last fall. He raved about the experience he had working with Larry. Larry will shoot you straight and really help you find the best ring for your budget. The great thing about Ethan Lord is that you can completely design your ring exactly they way you want it - and it's really easy! The ring turned out even better than we had envisioned it. We also went back to Ethan Lord for our wedding bands, and again Larry exceeded our expectations. He was able to custom make my band to match my engagement ring exactly. I couldn't be happier with our experience with Larry at Ethan Lord. Overall we had great customer service, great value, and great quality!

Whitney's done a fabulous job of scouring the fine jewelry world to bring us some of the best, most beautiful designs. Every time I go in, I find something that takes my breath away; the problem is in choosing what to get. Luckily, the prices are reasonable enough I can purchase 2-3 things for my collection!

When chosing my engagement ring for my Fiance , i had searched the city far and wide, from shopping Mall's to main street stores and most of the shops at Jewelers row downtown. I found that when i steped into M Martin's store it was a total different experience. There i met Mr Steve Martin who was willing to spend time showing me different things that i had not seen or heard of at the other stores. He was an absolute gentleman and acted like a true professional. When i seen the final product after it had been made i was very happy as i think i got a fabulous deal, a ring with a excellent cut in diamond, clarity and grading. I would recommend M Martin jewelers as a top class establishment with wonderful staff and will sure be using them in the future.
