Do not recommend 3/17/2008

Did not like using Carpet Mills, took 7 months to get carpet tacked down. Left baseboards torn up from using a saw and was told that was my responsibiliy took lots of work to get them to fix. They said everyone knows that you are going to have to replace baseboards after tile work done. Tile against carpet has cracks and holes in it which they will not fix, grout is many colors for some reason and grout is very uneven. You can notice grout over tiles in some areas and tile sticking up in some areas. Very sharp corners because the tile is so uneven they said this is all normal. District manager said he thought this was sloppy work and would order 5 boxes of tile to fix which never happened because his boss would not approve it. The district manger said they have had lots of sloppy work from this installer but his boss said that was not true that he was the best installer they have ever had. He no longer works there because she fired him. Would not recommend these people. Very few people that speak english. Service was horrible. Installers and management have no communication. Management will talk very nasty to you. Pros: Price was not bad Cons: Management is very poor more

Be Very Careful 1/6/2008

They do use underage children to do there work. Our job has not been completed and they charged us the full amount and we have not signed off on the work. Do not give these people your credit info. Pros: price Cons: not honest more

DO NOT USE 1/5/2008

Had our tile installed about 6 months ago. They sent a team of 4 guys with a young boy. He was the only one that spoke English and was the tile cutter. He was probably about 7 or 8 years old. The tile job was very poor. Grout was cracking and unlevel within days. Tile was very unlevel and they left carpet untacked with nails sticking up which my 1 year old cut himself. After about 5 attempts to have someone show up which no one did we got in touch with the district manager who did show up. He agreed that this was poor work. His exact words were he has been having problems with this installer and this was very sloppy work. The head install lady told us Carpet Mills only gives the jobs out after that they are not responsible for who comes out. District manager said he would send someone out with 4 boxes of tile to try and fix the work. This still has not been done. I used 3 vacation days waiting on them to come out and I told them I could not take off anymore and the job would have to be done on the weekends. The last time the head lady told me she would be out with the guys on a sat at 8:00am, no one ever showed up. Good luck if you use them Cons: all more

Very poor customer service. 2/14/2007

We bought a carpet from a salesman and this was OK. Delivery service was terrible. Delivery was scheduled on three different occasions, the first being 2/3/2007. Each time, CMOA stated ""The carpet is not in, we have to reschedule."" The first time, CMOA left a message on our answering maching that we did not get (our fault) but CMOA did not followup. On the second and third attempts, CMOA did not contact us; we had to contact them. Telephone calls were not returned. After three failed attempts, we cancelled the order and requested immediate credit of our deposit. We were told on 2/7/2007 that they would immediately credit our credit card. On 2/14/2007 we were told that the credit card had been credited, but not until 2/13/2007, but as of late afternoon 2/14/2007 our credit card still had not been credited. BEWARE OF DOING BUSINESS WITH CMOA. From our perspective, these people have no credibility. A very disappointing and unprofessional experience. more

Bad Experience 11/13/2006

The price was decent, but communication is awful. They didn't show up when they were supposed to and didn't even bother to call to cancel. They use subcontrators that they have no control of.\r Quality of the job was average. They have decent prices. If somebody is always at home and at their service whenever they show up for installation. That's good. By if you have to take time off to be there, don't go with them.
